Restaurant description

A high-end concept brought to you by the former MD of steak restaurant Gaucho and Le Gavroche chef Michael Reid, M Victoria is the second M opening, joining its hugely popular sister restaurant, M Threadneedle St. This award–winning grill restaurant was shortlisted as Best New Opening 2016 and won ‘Best Grill Restaurant - London’ 2018.

Offsetting its succulent grill cuts with a nutrient-bursting raw bar, the M restaurant menu focuses on supreme ingredients, cherry-picked from across the globe. Enjoy RAW specialities like tuna sashimi or kangaroo tartare, along with GRILL favourites like braised lamb, or a succulent Aberdeen Angus steak.

Head down to the basement-dwelling M bar to sample a host of signature cocktails and street food, where live arts and DJs conjure a high-octane vibe. The M restaurant group was bestowed with ‘Sommelier of the Year’ award from Harpers 2015.

Entered by a spectacular wine store, M restaurant Victoria is an ultra-slick drinking and dining emporium in London. Find Victoria Station a 6-minute walk away.

Service was a bit hap hazard but food was great and arrived in good time. I thought the wine by the glass was overpriced

Cons - The desert was pretty poor for the calibre of the restaurant. - The service very disappointing considering it wasn’t that busy and there seemed to be a lot of staff my group and I had to constantly ask for our water to be topped up in the end we gave up asking and put the water jug on our table. Pros - Who doesnt like free flowing Prosecco. - The starter and main were exceptional. - The setting was beautiful and lots of space so we didn’t feel like we were intruding on other customers. - Some of our party were late and the staff were absolutely fine, we never felt rushed thoughtout our whole time which was great. - Great value for money, 4 course, free flowing processo and we shared 3 sides between 6 of us including service it came to less than £50 each.

The food and service were emazing (Google the interior it's plush loveliness). We selected the 4 course free flowing prosecco deal and it never felt like the paupers option, which can be the case with many set deals. The prosecco was truly bottomless and there was never the awkwardness of trying to catch the waiters eye for a top up. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and we plan to go back to order from the al a cart menu. I would highly recommended.

We had the pre theatre meal two courses pre theatre then dessert and prosecco after theatre. Such a brilliant idea. Food was delicious, staff very helpful and friendly and a great buzzy atmosphere. Water was overpriced!!

Great ambience, attentive staff, food was overall OK, but... But. Out of 8 steaks ordered, only 2 were cooked correctly, all the others were overcooked. Inexcusable for a steak restaurant.
