Location great, close to Victoria station. Great restaurant seating really comfortable and even though the restaurant was busy it was not too noisy. Great food loved all 3 courses and bottomless prosecco offer is definitely value for money.

A high-end concept brought to you by the former MD of steak restaurant Gaucho and Le Gavroche chef Michael Reid, M Victoria is the second M opening, joining its hugely popular sister restaurant, M Threadneedle St. This award–winning grill restaurant was shortlisted as Best New Opening 2016 and won ‘Best Grill Restaurant - London’ 2018.

Offsetting its succulent grill cuts with a nutrient-bursting raw bar, the M restaurant menu focuses on supreme ingredients, cherry-picked from across the globe. Enjoy RAW specialities like tuna sashimi or kangaroo tartare, along with GRILL favourites like braised lamb, or a succulent Aberdeen Angus steak.

Head down to the basement-dwelling M bar to sample a host of signature cocktails and street food, where live arts and DJs conjure a high-octane vibe. The M restaurant group was bestowed with ‘Sommelier of the Year’ award from Harpers 2015.

Entered by a spectacular wine store, M restaurant Victoria is an ultra-slick drinking and dining emporium in London. Find Victoria Station a 6-minute walk away.

I thought they were being a little disingenuous with the offer being listed as 4 courses. The first was a cracker with a dip. It was delicious but it wasn’t a full course. They were friendly and good with the free flowing Prosecco though.

Wonderful setting with incredibly attentive staff, for a pre theatre menu this was of a fantastic standard. Will definitely be returning for the a la carte next time.

Sorry but this was a very unadventurious fixed menu - in fact it was the same as I had a few years back in their City branch, although that was nicely cooked and not rushed.

Fried chicken as a starter was overcooked and unseasoned
Steak was badly butchered piece of meat, so the consequence was it was a pyramid shaped piece of meat.
Dessert was ginger cake - ok in the winter but not very seasonal

Because it included Bubbles we were rushed through the meal in no time - so might as well gone to the pub for lunch

I will not go back to M

The decor looks great! However, that's about the only positive I can come up with. Some dishes were not available. Most of the dishes we got had no flavour or had too much salt. No atmosphere as the restaurant was almost empty. The service was not great either. I'm surprised this is a Michelin restaurant! Terrible!

Disappointing. Service was not good right from the moment we arrived. Not very welcoming. Lacked atmosphere. Not what we were expecting.

Generally a poor experience all round! I booked this restaurant based on a convenience of location to bring 4 French friends to, as it was near to their hotel. The French ladies were not treated very well by the waiter who had little patience with them, although one spoke good English. He did not give them any ordering advice and I had to repeatedly ask him to return to the table to add things to the order! We did not have the free flowing Prosecco as three of the party decided they did not like Prosecco, so the cost was reduced by £7.50 per head and all drinks were charged for. The cost of wines by the bottle and by the glass is very high indeed and we paid £72 for a fairly indifferent St Emillion. My husband and I paid nearly £30 for 2 glasses of not very good sparkling wine which we ordered separately. Our chicken starter when it arrived was tough, overcooked and tasteless and very small! The garnishes advertised were practically non existent! Bread was not too fresh and only 6 very small pieces was offered and I had to request more.
French people are used to good quality fresh bread, given freely in quantities to suit! The main course chosen was the steak and chips for us all. The meat was of a good quality and cooked correctly for most of us. The size of each steak was variable however! Chips were not of the best; flabby and not very hot! There was no garnish whatsoever ever! The steak looked ridiculously lonely sitting in the middle of a large plate! Chips came in the now regulation small zinc bucket! Sauces that were ordered as extras had to be chased up and were not individually presented in dishes. However, they were charged for as 2 orders! Puddings were better and all of us enjoyed these. Coffee was ok, but in small cups and expensive! The room is very pleasant to sit in and we all liked the banquette style of seating as it's more sociable. The restaurant is all style over substance! Not recommended! Bad deal! Shame!

We went for a pre theatre dinner and had made reservation for a 4 course menu with free flowing prosecco. Service was good, the decor was modern and felt rich and food quality was excelent. We really enjoyed our starters and mains, generous portions and really tasty. Prosecco was also good quality and service was suffuciently fast to be well in tine for our show.
Bottom line a vety good expetience that we certainly will do again

    Excellent ambience, service and food.
The lunch menu is very good value for money and doesn't skimp on quality.
