Created by the former managing director of Gaucho, and led by executive chef Michael Reid, M Restaurants houses 2 100-cover restaurants, a destination cocktail bar, a wine-tasting room and a secret lounge, in addition to flexible private dining and event spaces.

A casual dining spot, RAW showcases contemporary Asian flavours. Try swordfish from the sashimi bar, belly pork and egg ramen, or Argentine beef tartare. M Grill serves select steak cuts carefully selected from 6 individual countries, including South African rib eye and high grade Japanese pure Kobe fillet steak.

Characterised by extravagant lighting, contemporary artwork and sophisticated furnishings, M is a distinctly cool City venue. M Restaurants in Bank is also home to a mezzanine-level cocktail bar, which plays host to live music and DJs.

Amidst the buzz of the capital’s financial district, M Restaurants London is a short stroll from St Paul's Cathedral, and a 2-minute walk from Bank Tube Station.

We went for what we believed was the 4 course special at £27 pp including a glass of prosecco. We started with black talamisata followed by starters. 2 of us selected the fried chicken and 2 aelected the marinated salmon. Both beautifully presented and were wonderful. Our mains were rump steak and chips and the other selection sea bream. Again, both presented well and tasted brilliant. We were unanimous in our dessert selection of dolce de leche. Tasted brilliant! Throughout the entire dinner we were served a never ending flow of prosecco. When we got the bill though the dinner was £30 a head and the prosecco was an additional £24. Not overly different but unexpected. I didn't say anything as I was treating friends to dinner and didn't want to look cheap :-). Overall a pretty amazing meal that I would recommend. I do wish they would have told me they were not honoring their bookatable promotion.

Booked the free flow Prosecco deal which when you get there the small print on the menu says is limited to one bottle per person but that was fine except that were serving everyone pink spumante. We asked our waiter and he said that it was pink prosecco which it wasn't. Eventually they said the supplier had let them down but managed to rustle up some 'white' as they called it prosecco for our table of 5. Food is good but no sides at all ie a piece of steak or fish without even garnishing but very tasty and perfectly cooked. As it was my son's birthday they decorated his dessert plate and very generously gave us a signed from the staff copy of the M recipe book RRP £30 which was very generous and appreciated after proseccogate! Very modern toilets that open the seat themselves and have a heated seat. Very loud in the restaurant but a great 70's, 80's, 90's playlist was blasting out.

Service & attitude of the staff was poor from the outset & remained that way. Decor is great

Very pleasant modern decor although music somewhat loud. This was turned down at my request which improved matters. Food and service excellent. Very good value special menu with Prosecco. The wines were fiercely expensive except Prosecco at £20 per bottle. The glasses of wine were very highly priced unless I was misreading the list! As an aside the toilets were immaculate and very hitech with apart from anything else a seat which raised automatically as one entered the room.

Amazing experience. We booked the free flow option and both food and drink was superb. The resatauant has a lovely ambiance but what really impressed me was how friendly and attentive the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble. I would strongly recommend and for London value for money was great.
