Love this restaurant! Girls night out couldn't have been better, great cocktails and service. Food was delicious, highly recommend the Wagyu Scotch Egg starter. Will definitely be back for date night and really glad there's finally something like this in Twickenham. Will be recommending to all.

From the acclaimed M restaurants in Victoria and the City, M Bar & Grill Twickenham offers casual drinking and chic grill dining. Created by M executive chef and Great British Menu star, Michael Reid, expect a menu of modern British dishes and award-winning steaks.

The M Bar & Grill menu is led by lovingly sourced steaks including Highland wagyu and British beef. Succulent cuts can be paired with indulgent sides such as triple-cooked chips or truffled mac ‘n’ cheese, whilst other hearty mains include a rotisserie chicken with confit garlic, rare breed pork shoulder with buttermilk purée and cider jus, and the M twist on fish and chips, complete with potato emulsion and crispy oyster.

Sunday roasts at M offer indulgent twists on the classics with the likes of slow-cooked wagyu beef and rare breed pork shoulder on the menu, whilst brunch favourites are also given the M treatment, with hens’ eggs and sourdough soldiers, and sweet potato hash brown with duck egg amongst the options.

Overlooking the River Crane, find M Bar & Grill at Brewery Wharf opposite Twickenham Station.

Very average- pub food at inflated prices . Staff were friendly but not on top of things. Food was ok but there are very similar menus around the area . Decor is really nice

A friend and I ate at this restaurant in Twickenham on Thursday evening and were looking forward to it very much as this chain has a good reputation and we were keen to see the new development as it looks attractive from the outside. We went for the 2 course set menu which includes a glass of Prosecco. Everything was expensive and not great value. We had a standard Malbec for £27 which was OK but not wonderful and later, on receipt of the bill, were shocked to find our two extra glasses of Malbec (175cl) came to £19.50. My starter which was a poached salmon dish was tiny and tasteless. The little steaks we were served were not the best cuts. We were told we would get a salad or vegetable dish alongside the chips but when the meal came, the waitress said she had been misinformed. We had to order our salad separately. The waitress was very sweet and tried hard. This two course meal came to £66 a head. As you can tell, my friend and I did not feel this meal was great value for money. Overall this was a disappointing experience. I am afraid I couldn't recommend! Luckily we are spoiled for choice in Richmond/Twickenham.

We'd been meaning to try this place for some time and we weren't disappointed. Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, with some of the best roast beef we've ever had. We'll definitely be back for dinner soon.

We just live around the corner and therefore welcome the addition of a new, smart bar and steak restaurant. Sadly however, we fear this place will not survive. Clearly no market research was conducted before opening this establishment. The bar area had a nice atmosphere, the range of drinks was impressive and the prices were about right, with a glass of tattinger being very reasonably priced. This is a very welcome addition to Twickenham. The staff were not quite what you'd expect in a purportedly classy establishment: rather uncommunicative, serious bar man but perhaps this will improve over time. The head waiter was actually very good and knew his stuff. It is the restaurant that has really made the place into a bit of a laughing stock in Twickenham. I thought my local friends were exaggerating but the prices are eye-wateringly expensive! There is wagyu steak on the menu for £100! I had a fillet steak for £35 with a small bowl of chips at £5 and a small bowl of greens for another £5 and sauce for the steak at £3. The fillet was actually delicious. My husband had the rib eye and said it was "okay". We are used to seeing and paying these prices in the best restaurants around for the most magnificent food in a fabulous setting but this place feels more like a budget hotel restaurant. It was quite baffling because the clientele certainly did not look like the type of people to spend that much money on dinner! When I discussed the prices with the waiter he told me that most people were dining at a discounted rate - for example Richmond card holders get 25% off. I can't see how such a business model can work. Very unfortunate. Would have loved to see something more user friendly here like an Ivy restaurant perhaps.

Found the whole experience lacking from arrival to leaving, O.K. it was match day in Twickenham but it never pays to overfill a bar, I ordered a Tomahawk steak which was a rib eye with half a rib bone put on the plate for visual, steak was even overcooked, the chef did offer to replace but the damage was done.

The restaurant is very clean and was very busy when we arrived, we were early and still managed to gear the table we booked, the service was great couldn’t do enough for us it was just the food that let it down I had the scotch egg to start it was ok the egg was hard boiled wasn’t anything special, for main course I had the chicken and ordered triple cooked chips as a side, the chicken was burnt black underneath and only just cooked in the middle, the triple cooked chips were lucky if they were cooked once let alone three times they were soggy not pleasant at all, I wasn’t going to have a dessert but decided to try the milk chocolate ganache, it was a plate of chocolate shards scattered and hidden was a tiny bit of ganach. Over priced very average meal.
