We had the boozeless afternoon tea and it was quite disappointing. The Lyaness bar was very nice with lovely seats and views of the river. However, the food was very disappointing, the finger sandwiches were nice (although the chicken one was very salty). The cakes were average if not way too small, the meringue tart was way too sweet! The most disappointing thing were the scones. We had to share a fruit scone and a plain one...so had to cut them in half!!! Even worst was the fact the scones were disgusting, the inside wasn’t even baked but doughy!!! You get better scones from Tesco’s...actually even Aldi! Avoid this place if you want a good afternoon tea experience.

My husband and I had the Afternoon Tea with cocktails. The sweet and savoury plates were delicious. Out of pure greediness we would have loved more of the sandwiches and sausage roll/devilled egg. The cocktail pairings were perfect. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of. Thanks!

Really good balance between savoury and sweet snacks (the sausage roll was my favourite). The vegetarian option for one of our friends was really appreciated, as was the welcome drink in recognition of his birthday.
