Above the cobbled streets of Leadenhall Market, Luc’s Brasserie brings classic French cuisine to the vibrant city of London. At Luc’s Bar, a carefully crafted Gallic wine list enhances the rich French flavours of this Parisian dining experience.

The Luc’s Brasserie menu offers a range of quintessential French dishes like duck rillettes with red onion confiture and toasts, or escargots de Bourgogne. Alongside these French favourites are more contemporary city choices like Luc’s steak hache burger. Complementing this diverse menu is the sophisticated choice of champagnes.

The large, panelled windows magnify the spacious dining area of Luc's Brasserie restaurant, which is decorated in accordance with its bistro theme. Luc’s Brasserie in Bank also allows for an intimate candle-lit setting.

Blending authentic Parisian cuisine with this historic British setting, Luc’s Brasserie in London is a 7-minute walk from Bank Tube Station.

Food was excellent and service great too. Only downside was the location of our table. We were seated right by the preparing:clearing area towards the rear of the restaurant, which was incredibly noisy at times with plates being cleaned, stacked and other loud noises emanating from behind the service bar. If I were the owner I would look to try to lessen the levels of noise as conversations were difficult at times. Acoustics were very poor.

Excellent food and service. As it filled-up the noise level was a bit too high to hear my guest across the table without leaning-in

Food was very good (I would say 4 out of 5), but unfortunately the service was very poor (I would say 1 out of 5).

overall this was a decent lunch experience but there were a couple of disappointing elements. Food wise, starters were good (pate and onion soup). Mains were a bit disappointing as I ordered "onglet à l'echalotte" which came without any "echalotte" (shallots). When i enquired about it, i was told the chef was very busy and must have forgotten (by the way the waitress did not seem to know what shallots were). When it came later on, the shallots were raw (not cooked) which, if the chef was French would have been enough to strip of his/her nationality. The meat (onglet) was good quality though. My guest had a tuna - the dish looked underwhelming but was good nonetheless. 2nd issue came with the bill, had a special deal via Bookatable (for 2 dishes) but the bill did not show this at all and I ended up paying more than I should. This was a business meeting so I chose not to complain about it on the spot in front of my guest but this created a unpleasant feeling for me.
