Very good, as usual. Took a client and had bubble and squeak with black pudding.

Excellent food, excellent service. Reasonably priced, nice that you do 3 courses for a set price even at weekends.

Great value for money lunch time menu. Very good food and attentive and helpful staff. The place was very busy so we were glad we had booked which ensured a good table in the window. Would most certainly return.

The restaurant is very well sited close to the cathedral and Exeter city centre. The décor is attractively modern, creating a relaxed atmosphere with the staff friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and flavoursome with imaginative dishes offering very good value.

Staff on arrival were fab; welcoming and humorous. Lovely atmosphere. We had the three course menu with a range of choice. The deep fried Brie was divine; the roasted tomato soup outstanding. We then had different mains: steak, fish and chicken with potatoes and chorizo. The staff couldn't have been better. One steak was cooked more than asked for but it was changed without hesitation. I also didn't like peas so was given a choice of three other vegetables, again without any problem. Everyone thought the food was delicious. Finished with dessert which everyone cleaned up; the Eton mess was devoured; cheesecake was creamy and crumbly and two of us had affogato which rounded off the meal superbly.

The service was great and the food was great. I had the chicken burger it would have been nice to have it on a plate rather than a wooden board.

Very nice, good atmosphere, food good, I was disappointed that the Eggs Benedict were not served on toast as on the menu.

Really lovely food, especially the special starter - calamari with sweet chilli sauce. Would like to see a bigger range of drinks on offer. Cocktails etc.
