Arguably one of Wales’ most idyllic spots, Llanerch Vineyard offers refined British cuisine in a 5-star setting. Set within 22 acres of the lush Vale of Glamorgan, guests can look out over the picturesque grape-filled fields.

Offering classic dishes which bring sumptuous natural flavours to the fore, Llanerch Vineyard menu offerings include grilled market-fresh fish fillets, succulent duck leg with raspberry jus, or beetroot tart tatin with Welsh cheese. Desserts are made fresh on the premises, and change according to the season.

Sourcing bins from the Llanerch estate as well as further afield, the Llanerch Vineyard wine list offers a knowledgeably sourced, easy-to-understand selection. A celebrated list of regional cheeses complements the wine list perfectly, and guests are welcome to amble through the vineyard at their leisure.

The pride of this 5-star retreat, guests can enjoy dining on the summery patio during warmer weather, or in the homely Llanerch restaurant dining room. Central Pontyclun is an 8-minute drive away.

Lovely setting...have been many times before but have always eaten in the bistro or outside.even though i was apprehensive that the restaurant may be too formal,i was pleasantly surprised at how relaxed it was.
Food for all 5 of us was beautiful...if i was to nit pick,i would have preferred more salad leaves&some dressing on my tuna salad.??
We didn't feel in any way rushed between courses which makes for an overall more pleasant experience.diolch.

We booked afternoon tea for two and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, efficient, polite and very helpful, without being intrusive. The food was gorgeous. There is so much of it!…which is not a criticism at all. Everything had been freshly made and you could tell. My favourites were definitely the scones - heavenly. I’d noted on my booking form about a particular dietary requirement and it was not a problem for them and I was served with the food I had requested.
An all round lovely experience. I would happily recommend to others. Looking forward to coming again.

Had a delightful time when I took my parents to the Bistro for lunch. Enjoyed a table over looking the vineyard on a sunny day, which always helps. As for the food, WOW delicious Had a good choice on the menu and we all had something different and were not disappointed. I especially enjoyed the asparagus with a hens egg covered in polenta.
The whole property is well maintained and look forward to returning. Also tempted to stay in one of the lovely rooms and really enjoy the whole experience.

Delicious afternoon tea, every part of it was perfectly prepared, and very flavoursome, light and non stodgy. We were charged twice for our sparking wine, but this was quickly rectified. The setting was beautiful, with open doors and views over the vineyard. We were blessed with blue skies and had a lovely stroll amongst the vines after eating. A thoroughly delightful afternoon out. Highly recommended.
