Arguably one of Wales’ most idyllic spots, Llanerch Vineyard offers refined British cuisine in a 5-star setting. Set within 22 acres of the lush Vale of Glamorgan, guests can look out over the picturesque grape-filled fields.

Offering classic dishes which bring sumptuous natural flavours to the fore, Llanerch Vineyard menu offerings include grilled market-fresh fish fillets, succulent duck leg with raspberry jus, or beetroot tart tatin with Welsh cheese. Desserts are made fresh on the premises, and change according to the season.

Sourcing bins from the Llanerch estate as well as further afield, the Llanerch Vineyard wine list offers a knowledgeably sourced, easy-to-understand selection. A celebrated list of regional cheeses complements the wine list perfectly, and guests are welcome to amble through the vineyard at their leisure.

The pride of this 5-star retreat, guests can enjoy dining on the summery patio during warmer weather, or in the homely Llanerch restaurant dining room. Central Pontyclun is an 8-minute drive away.

We had an excellent meal at the Llanerch Vineyard just prior to Christmas. Every dish was superb and left us wanting to return.
Sadly the return visit fell far short of our first experience. Whilst the greeting and service was excellent, some of the dishes were average at best.

The scallops in the starter were minuscule, perhaps (as the waitress advised us) because they were the last ones available that night. First restaurant I've ever been to that only serves two. Frankly, the starter took longer to read than eat!

The Beef short ribs whilst delicious were over salted, and served with large cut chips and onion rings despite arriving on a bed on mash.

The chocolate tart lacked any richness whatsoever and was left by both of us.

Sadly I think this might be our last visit.

Lovely atmosphere with attentive but not intrusive staff. Excellent afternoon tea, with gorgeous, well presented cakes. Sandwiches were an open style, delicious and fresh.

I will be booking here again - hoping to experience the restaurant for a meal and maybe go to some wine tastings.

Lovely afternoon tea with a wide selection of cakes and sandwich fillings. Table service could be better but overall a nice experience.

What a fab place. I have an onion allergy and advised the waitress as soon as I got there. She went to see the chef and brought me a list of foods he could do without onions.
Fab service and an excellent experience

Absolutely wonderful. Food was delicious as was the wine! Being coeliac It was really refreshing to see GF options and possibilities on the menu. Staff were very helpful and attentive. I cannot wait to go back.

My daughter and I came for afternoon tea.
1st. It wasn't nice to smell other guests fish dinner while we were eating our pastries.
2nd. It would have been nice to use the fine China for afternoon tea instead of the chunky cups.
3Rd. A pastry fork would have been useful when eating our cakes.
