Arguably one of Wales’ most idyllic spots, Llanerch Vineyard offers refined British cuisine in a 5-star setting. Set within 22 acres of the lush Vale of Glamorgan, guests can look out over the picturesque grape-filled fields.

Offering classic dishes which bring sumptuous natural flavours to the fore, Llanerch Vineyard menu offerings include grilled market-fresh fish fillets, succulent duck leg with raspberry jus, or beetroot tart tatin with Welsh cheese. Desserts are made fresh on the premises, and change according to the season.

Sourcing bins from the Llanerch estate as well as further afield, the Llanerch Vineyard wine list offers a knowledgeably sourced, easy-to-understand selection. A celebrated list of regional cheeses complements the wine list perfectly, and guests are welcome to amble through the vineyard at their leisure.

The pride of this 5-star retreat, guests can enjoy dining on the summery patio during warmer weather, or in the homely Llanerch restaurant dining room. Central Pontyclun is an 8-minute drive away.

Lovely place to eat. Have eaten in both the restaurant and the Bistro on previous visits, both are really lovely. We were in the Bistro on this occasion. The menu had changed considerably since our last visit but what we had was very good.

We had a beautiful lunch .The Staff were superb .Very friendly and attentive .The young waitress was delightful .The setting was lovely as it was a sunny day .I was offered gluten free Yorkshire puddings and gravy .Bonus for coeliacs .We found the cost a little expensive for Sunday Lunch. Will definitely return for special celebratory lunch .Thoroughly enjoyed !!!

It didn’t start well as when we arrived no staff greeted us for 5 minutes and it was only when the bar staff rang the bell someone appeared. My mum is disabled and we when we asked to change tables (there was plenty of room) so she could sit on a soft seat the member of staff serving us did at first not want to assist as if it was too much trouble to change over the cutlery and cups. After that the service continued to be very poor. The standard of the afternoon tea food and coffee was very poor. The coffee was particularly awful and the sandwiches and fillings very poor. The cakes and scones were about the best. The tea was also served with just one potion of cream. In addition one of the teas booked was with a glass of sparkling wine and the glass was half full which was really disappointing as the price is not value for money but expensive. Not an enjoyable afternoon

Lovely 3 course meal from the festive menu at the car had resteraunt.
Couldn't fault the service, ambience was lovely and so was the food. I had the duck salad to start and it was beautiful. Cod for main which was nice, and desert i had the ginger cake, which was a bit dry but it didn't worry me as everything else was so good. I'll be going back soon!
