Lovely cosy restaurant. Food was delicious. The live music was nice, however sometimes a bit too loud.

Always love it here, staff are friendly, the food is totally expectable (not gourmet, but good standard). At Sunday lunch no opera singers but still a joy

my 3rd visit and was disappointed this time. Waited in the reception area a bit too long to be welcomed...The waitress did not offer to hang up our coats. we were offered a table a bit too close to 2 families with young children so asked to be moved and was very pleased to get a box table shortly after it was made available. The entertainment was a bit bland. The atmosphere was not good. The food we ordered was the 3 course for £20 - I was disappointed with it. I was expecting a prawn cocktail but was served prawns in batter which was actually very nice. The desert was something with whipped cream decorated with only 2 quarters of a strawberry !!!! after we paid the bill we headed to the door but no one was there to hand us our coats ...we had to wait. I think next time I would prefer to avoid the set menu for 2 and get better value by spending a bit more.

Beautiful little place! We ate here on Valentine's Day, so understandably, it was VERY busy, but despite this, the staff were still polite, friendly, and available for anything throughout the meal. The food was also excellent - me and my partner both had three (different) courses, and couldn't find fault with any dish. The decor was really cute, and the added touches for Valentine's Day were really nice - The live opera singer was great, and moved around the room constantly, so was never too intrusive on the meal or the conversation. Considering it was Valentine's Day, the staff did an excellent job catering to every table, as and when they could. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and we will definitely be eating there again soon!

Overall experience was good. Food was good although I tend to have the same meal every time I go there (Duck). I know that my party enjoyed their dinner too (except for the Roast Beef dinner!).
