My first time at Little Bay and it was a pleasant experience. I booked online and phoned to confirm that it was my wife's birthday, however, the special booth seating and dessert treat promised didn't happen. Quite disappointing. Food was good for the price, but the older lady who was our waitress definitely wanted to go home. May be back.

Little Bay has quirky decor, been visiting since it was Chalet Suisse many years ago. Food is reasonably priced and good. Service excellent. I had plaice stuffed with crab and my husband had shoulder of lamb. Both delicious.

The food was delicious, lamb rump is always a firm favourite. Service was a big disappointment, I feel just because our party were not drinking alcohol due to medical reasons. During our meal not once did the service staff come to see if we were ok or to get our comments on the food, we were not offered dessert nor coffees just 'would we like the bill', so we left as we feel we over stayed our welcome. Not a pleasant experience!

At first sight, I loved its quaint, characteristic look, dressed appropriately for Halloween. I was hoping it would be like it's sister restaurant in Kilburn (sadly closed down). Thankfully, it was and more. The Little Bay Restaurant Croydon, is like a Tardus. It starts to grow as you walk in. I love the Juliet balconies and intimate, secluded theatre box areas - making it perfect for social distancing. The lady who wonderful welcomed us (I wish I'd taken her name as she was so lovely and full of spirit) went out of her way to make us feel like VIP as did the rest of the staff. Now for the best part of our evening - the food and drink was exquisite ?? every taste felt like a dream. I had the pumpkin soup for starters, duck for main and apple cake for desert. I tasted my friends, stuffed mushrooms starter and her lamb main and she tasted mine. We enjoyed, and savoured every mouthful, while we chat, Laughed, took pictures and admired, the later packed, picturesque restaurant. Our evening left us feeling magical and full. ????
