Restaurant description

LEGGERO Soho is the only Italian entirely gluten-free restaurant in the UK accredited by Coeliac UK. Vegan and vegetarian-friendly, LEGGERO offers fresh, homemade pasta and classic Italian flavours

The flavour-rich LEGGERO menu is led by homemade pasta and ravioli. The menu begins with a selection of small plates, including duck breast with red berries sauce, stuffed calamari or the pork on Portobello mushroom with beetroot cream.

Main dishes include handmade sorghum and hemp basil tagliatelle served with almond flakes, pesto and tomatoes, and ravioli stuffed with gorgonzola cheese and beetroot, whilst tiramisu and almond and orange cake are amongst the rich desserts. From the bar, sample a range of classic and signature cocktails, as well as a lengthy Italian wine list.

Also stall holders at popular Mercato Metropolitano in south London, find LEGGERO on Old Compton Street, a short walk from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Oh my gosh the best place for coeliacs! An entire menu completely gluten free, no checking with the waiter, a dream come true! Amazing pasta, our non coeliac couldn't even tell the difference! Dishes were tasty, really fresh and great portions. Our waiter was superb, he was great at his job and you knew he loved it, he worked very hard and was always there for everyone in the restaurant guessing your next move. He was great at suggesting dishes and had a brilliant genuine smile. We had the bread selection, homemade, perfect focaccia too. The arancine and bruschetta were delicious, The Bolognese and chestnut parpadelle were perfectly cooked and flavoursome. We then went on to try the cheesecake and it was divine. An extra surprise the bill! It was affordable! Great location in soho great for pre theatre dinner and sight seeing. Book a table online as it’s busy especially at dinner time. Thank you leggero you really had us excited about eating out.

The best traditional Italian restaurant in central London! Not just for gluten free eaters but those who are looking for a cosy, atmospheric, classy dinner! Favourite dish was the vegan cannelloni and the bread selection for starter! Lovely staff too!

Very small but very friendly restaurant. Small but delicious menu. 100% Gluten Free. Highly recommend for Coeliacs and non-coeliacs will also enjoy. Not cheap. with drink and dessert its probably £25-30 per person. But a nice treat.

We arrived early and were able to get a seat straight away and made to feel very welcome. Great food a dream for a coeliac with more choice than I ever get when I go out. Amazing GF bread followed by pink ravioli finished with dark chocolate basket. Service was amazing, would highly recommend and will certainly be going back again soon.

Pretty good gluten free pasta - gf bread/focaccia not as successful. The room is unattractive and could use a deep clean. Friendly, attentive staff.
