LEGGERO Soho is the only Italian entirely gluten-free restaurant in the UK accredited by Coeliac UK. Vegan and vegetarian-friendly, LEGGERO offers fresh, homemade pasta and classic Italian flavours

The flavour-rich LEGGERO menu is led by homemade pasta and ravioli. The menu begins with a selection of small plates, including duck breast with red berries sauce, stuffed calamari or the pork on Portobello mushroom with beetroot cream.

Main dishes include handmade sorghum and hemp basil tagliatelle served with almond flakes, pesto and tomatoes, and ravioli stuffed with gorgonzola cheese and beetroot, whilst tiramisu and almond and orange cake are amongst the rich desserts. From the bar, sample a range of classic and signature cocktails, as well as a lengthy Italian wine list.

As a coeliac it is so wonderful to just be able to relax and enjoy a meal out without having to be constantly vigilant. So they had me at 100% gluten free anyway! But this one was also delicious - my three non-coeliac friends were also impressed and found their meals to be very tasty. We only wanted a light lunch but no way was I missing out on a gluten free tiramisu, so we went for a starter and a dessert each. All were really good and well presented. I had the lamb meatballs with a side salad. The tiramisu was light and creamy.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning - I’d like to have a full 3 courses next time.

I’ve been a coeliac for 20 years. Best restaurant ever. Everything gluten free and delicious. Non gluten people also enjoyed the food

Wow, what a find, an absolutely amazing, totally gluten free restaurant! I have coeliac disease so the whole eating experience made for a wonderful evening. Good choice of starters, light mains and full mains. The desserts went down well too, they were very generous portions. The staff were friendly, attentive and amusing; they were extremely busy with all tables taken and diners waiting for available tables the door and in the streeet.

Nice, rustic, authentic and gluten free Italian restaurant. Great service, decent prices and last but not least, excellent food.
Try the black squid ink ravioli or the tagliatelle bolognese. These are also lactose free.

Excellent. Understated and bustling atmosphere, with good service. Perfect for friend who is very gluten intolerant, and for the rest of us who couldn't tell the food was in any way lacking. Recommend the delicious lamb meatballs and the sea bass.

If based solely on the food, this would be a 5* review however due to service I'm giving it 3*.

My Mum hasn't had a bowl of good pasta since she was in her teens due to coeliac disease. Leggero is a god send! I treated her to lunch and she was over the moon at the bread and pasta selection.
The food was exceptional and i would recommend the menu to anyone. The bread selection starter was perfect. I had the brocoli tagliatelle and my mum had the pink ravioli. We both loved it and have no complaints about the food at all.

The downside was the service. It was very quiet but took a long time to get our order taken as the server was speaking to what I assume were his friends who were sitting right beside the bar. After we had ordered he went back to chatting and we didn't receive our drinks until after the starter arrived.

The start plates weren't cleared until the main was served (again he was chatting). After the main we waited about 10 mins then asked for the bill. Again until we called him over the plates weren't cleared. We got the bill and I immediately asked for the card machine. He said he'd be right back. We waited a further 10 minutes then had to get his attention to remind him and he didn't seem pleased to have his conversation with his friends interrupted.

If the food wasn't as good as it was, we probably wouldn't return but the ability for my Mum to choose anything on the menu and enjoy it really is great so I'm sure we'll be back, we just hope we get a different member of staff next time!

We went as party of four, and only me as a Coeliac - hence the choice of a GF restaurant. The overall surroundings are somewhat plain, this is an Italian GF restaurant so the menu is authentic Italian with starters, pasta course, main and dessert. The bread for starters was amazing- three different flavours warm from the oven, we all had pasta and it was indistinguishable from wheat pasta, and I also had a cheesecake dessert as its so rare to get a choice of dessert. We all agreed the food was excellent, and the service was relaxed but attentive - just right! I recommend this to all, my friends would who would normally turn up their nose at GF food thought it was excellent too! It came recommended by my my daughter who is coeliac and lives in London - so she has also had good experiences there. Wine, beer and cocktails all good too. Oh - and prices also reasonable.
