One of the best restaurants in London to eat - enough said

We love eating here before going to the theatre. Not 5 stars this time as the toilets where a bit whiffy. We mentioned this and a promise to deal with it was made. We shall see!

The staff are very friendly and knowledgable about their menu. Our starter was pate with onion marmalade. Then we had coc au vin with dauphinoise potatoes. This was followed by a chocolate mouse, chocolate tart and bilberry tart. The house wine was perfect with a berry fruit flavour. It was an excellent meal, I can't wait to go back again. This is the restaurant I want just a short walk away from home. I would be in there every day for their excellent bread, coffee and croissants.

We love Paul's Patisserie which we have been visiting for years whenever we go to Covent Garden. It has a lovely, warm atmosphere and the food is delicious and wonderful cakes and bread. It's a pity they only offer omelettes up to 12 o'clock as they were always a great lunchtime option. The staff are always very welcoming too. They have a great wine list but I wish they offered more soft drink options.

Staff ambience and wine fine but food very disappointing. The pate had zero flavour and the chicken in the cock au vin very dry and did not finish the dish

Good location, good menu, steak arrived medium rare as requested, good service, parents enjoyed it, music slightly too loud made it difficult to hear each other at times though didn't get around to asking them to turn it down slightly

Lovely French influenced restaurant. Nicely decorated with some great wall coverings. Liked the different assortment of seating arrangements. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had the tuna niçoise which was excellent. The tuna was cooked perfectly pink. Would definitely recommend the creme brûlée to finish! Delicious. We ate on a Friday evening from the a la carte menu and did not feel at all rushed. Will visit again. Defy anyone to leave without looking in on the fantastic patisserie in the front of the restaurant!

Good food at reasonable prices for Covent Garden. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambience. Also - interesting paintings on the walls!

Good to know: Only one toilet for the ladies, pity for such a large restaurant.
Tap water for 3 never arrived.
Waitress couldn't open the twist top bottle of wine, had another customer help in the end.
    We didn't leave a tip.
Food and wine when we got it was fine.
