Myself and 3 friends dined here of a Friday evening on the £20 deal. It's such good value for money, the food was excellent as were the cocktails, and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely dine here again...

Something to be aware of-if you wish to eat on the terrace at the brasserie, maximum size of the group is four. After initial disappointment of being seated inside, service was appropriately attentive and the food on the set menu fresh and well executed. Tastes were good and my guests happy with the ambiance, excellent views on the Thames. The cocktails included in the set menu were generously sized and tasty

We visited for lunch yesterday. An hour early but staff immeadiatley found us a table (outside, in the sunshine). There was only one main meat dish on the £20 menu, but it was belly pork so we were not bothered. So with asparagus and fish starters then pork mains, it made for a very pleasant hour. Then the dessert...My god where did they get there pastry chef!! They were fabulous.... Melon soup (Wow) not going to descibe it you just have to try it. And pinapple cheese cake with coconut sorbet. .. The only gripe was the length of time between courses, but there was plenty of fresh bread and a great view. Will definitley be returning.

service was utterly bad! The waitresses would just drop the plate on the table and no fineness.... no one even came to fill up our water glasses, refill wine glasses or even ask if we were enjoying our meal. The food was average on this occasion.

Very disappointed overall with Pont de la Tour - went to this restaurant many years ago & it certainly was not as good this time round. The service was pretty non existent & we felt ignored. We were just left & never asked how everything was & when the dessert menu arrived we had to wait so long for someone to return to see if we wanted to order that we just gave up & asked for the bill. The food was acceptable - we had booked one of the offers through BookaTable (£30 for 3 courses) which was a good deal, I would have been disappointed if we had paid full price for this meal as compared to many other similar restaurants we have been in London this was not up there. One feels you are paying more for the location & this is at the quality of food & attension to service. The restaurant kindly removed the service charge when we complained about the lack of service & we're very apologetic. Would we go again? No. Would we recommend? No. Very disappointing.

We had a great lunch at Le Pont de la Tour Bar & Grill. The staff were professional, very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious as was the accompanying wine. The weather was good and we were able to sit outside with a great view of Tower Bridge and the Thames. What more can you want on a warm June afternoon!

Fantastic evening , the staff were attentive and polite. We took the £20 offer with the cocktail and to be trueful for the money it would be petty to complain. It you want gourmet you have to pay for it do we were more than happy. The setting is superb and our friends from Canada were very happy as it was their first visit to London. House wine was good and priced at £19.95 a bottle it was more thn acceptable. Thanks you to all the staff.
