In a scenic coastal setting in Jersey, Le Hocq Inn is a quintessentially British gastro-pub. The most southerly pub in the British Isles, it sports a beautiful, landscaped patio area from which to enjoy the delightful seaside views.
The Le Hocq menu offers modern and refined British pub dishes, such as the baked pork tenderloin with Dauphinoise potatoes and sautéed green beans, and the deep-fried cod fillet in Le Hocq Inn’s famous Mary Ann ale batter. Traditionally chargrilled Portuguese ‘espetada’ skewers are an enticing offering, and feature a mouth-watering surf and turf option of prime rib-eye steak chunks, tiger prawns and scallops wrapped in bacon, all flavoured with garlic butter.
Locally-brewed cask ale and an extensive selection of wines can be enjoyed in the bar whilst enjoying a game of pool or watching live sport at this welcoming Jersey pub. A refreshingly bright cream interior is flooded by light from the sea-facing windows.
Le Hocq Inn sits on a corner of the winding La Grande Route de la Cote which hems the coast of Jersey. St Clement’s Parish Hall sits just 50 metres away.

Food and service were excellent

Disappointing menu, not much imagination. No mash as didn't have any potatoes that day and no ox cheek on menu. Cold milk served with coffee. Waitress very nice and helpful.

Atmosphere was ok but nothing special. Food likewise. Service was poor but only because there were not sufficient staff. The two on duty were dealing with the bar as well as taking orders and serving at the table. Both were very friendly but just run off their feet. The poor service was a management issue not down to the two on duty who did as well as they could under the circumstances. The bill was incorrect as it charged for a bottle of wine when it was actually one glass of wine!

Fabulous food, lovely staff and we had a very enjoyable meal thank you. Will definitely be returning. All of our choices were delicious. My only one nit pick, would be that our table was very sticky - we all noticed it and I think it could have done with a hot clean.

The staff were excellent especially the waitress we had. The starters were good however the fish pie did not have enough fish in. My ribs were an enormous portion ( maybe I should have ordered starter size. The bbq sauce definitely needs improving. The puddings were good.
