Good menu choices, fantastic staff and service. The quality of the food, particularly the faux filet was great.

This is one of my favourite places to catch up with old friends. Set course and wine is always good value. But if going with any claustrophobic friends make sure you book in the upstairs section as the downstairs section which is bigger is intimate with low ceilings but not for people who feel uncomfortable with the idea of being underground

Great service, friendly and food excellent. Most importantly - air conditioning.

Our party of 4 had a pre-theatre meal here from the set menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and we loved the table we were given. There is a really authentic french vibe to the restaurant which we all enjoyed and the wine was reasonably priced. We'd definitely recommend as a good pre-theatre option.

Great place - great food, only one minor negative comment we booked the pre-theatre 3 course deal and after checking the bill later realised they had charged us for the 2 course deal and then charged the full price for deserts - not a big deal but if you where on a tight budget one to look out for! and I should have checked if I had more time. Food was great though and although busy it felt quite intimate where we sat.
    Very friendly staff

They did not direct me to the pre-theatre menu which is what I booked for. As it was not immediately noticeable on the general menu I missed it and the bill was therefore a lot more than I bargained for. When I queried the bill they said that they had not been informed that I’d booked the pre-theatre deal. They took the price of a bottle of sparkling water off as recompense ...

Tiniest table, cramped, nice service, good wine, disappointing food.
