Bringing innovative Chinese cuisine to Knightsbridge, Le Chinois Restaurant and Bar is found at the characterful Millennium Hotel on Sloane Street. With afternoon dim sum, tasty sharing options and exotic cocktails, the simply styled, lantern-lit Le Chinois boasts an eclectic Cantonese menu designed by master chef Chan Kwok.
Among appetising starters, the Le Chinois menu offers sautéed wasabi-coated prawns and pan-fried chicken dumplings. Glazed enoki mushrooms, capital spare ribs and aromatic crispy duck are full of Oriental flavour.
The big seafood choice at Le Chinois Restaurant sees honey and soy marinated sea bass and pan-fried salmon with wild mushrooms and oyster sauce. There’s meaty venison with ginger and spring onion and homemade chicken curry, plus an array of vegetarian, rice and noodle dishes.
Sweet banana fritters and red bean pancakes with ice cream are just 2 of the tempting Le Chinois desserts. Inspired by Millennium's award-winning Singapore restaurant Hua Ting, Le Chinois Restaurant and Bar in London is a 3-minute walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

The dim sum and champagne afternoon tea was delightful. Presentation of the food was great but it also tasted fantastic. My favourite dim sum out of all of them (hard to choose a favourite as they were all good!) was probably the chicken mince on a lettuce leaf because the meat tasted beautiful. A thoroughly lovely afternoon tea.

Booking online was very easy. Restaurant was also easy to find. Welcome to the restaurant was not friendly. Service not offered with a smile and not very accommodating, in fact I was made to feel quite uncomfortable. Food was well presented but only a small portion per person. Chicken strips offered as part of dim sum afternoon tea was very salty. Automatic service charge of 12.5% added to bill which was not 'earned'. The whole experience was disappointing and I didn't feel value for the £45 I paid.

This was a fantastic afternoon tea with a twist. Perfect for anyone that prefers savoury to sweet. Everything was perfectly cooked and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend this!

Very professional service; we were impressed! Dim sum was tasty enough, although needed a *little something extra* to get that 5th star. The selection included 2 slices of prawn toast, 2x prawn dumplings, 2x vegetable dumplings, 2x vegetable samosas and some delicious crispy seaweed. The cocktail that I had was originally £9.50 on the menu, so the £10 deal of cocktail and dim sum selection was great value, especially in Knightsbridge.
