Quintessential French style and grace are offered at Le Caprice. As well as effortlessly elegant dishes, the crisp dining room features a gallery of David Bailey photographs, and lazy pavement dining is offered in summer.

Unpretentious, trusty French favourites are executed to perfection, with Le Caprice menu offerings including slow-roasted duck leg with truffled lentils and Morteau sausage, or cod fillet with delicate crab risotto and wilted greens. For dessert, exquisite creations include cleansing fruit sorbets, or the renowned Le Caprice restaurant tasting plate, with cherry pie, chocolate torte and wild strawberry jelly.

A renowned Heritage cocktail list brings together heady jazz-age flavours, with mixes like the Hemingway Daiquiri, or the fragrant St James’s with Cointreau and earl grey syrup. A prized wine list at Le Caprice Green Park offers a rare international selection.

Bringing flawless delicacies to an upmarket clientele since 1947, Le Caprice London offers a bright yet nostalgic ambience. Green Park Tube Station is a 2-minute walk away.

Lunch 6th May 2012 We were a party of 12 which included 4 children aged from 3 to 12.It was my birthday treat from my daughter. I cannot praise the staff highly enough - welcoming, friendly, and efficient, and the food was excellent.I loved my birthday message - once I realised it was there!! An altogether exceptional experience.

I have been going to Le Caprice for over 25 years and it remains a top restaurant although the prices of some items are too high and wine is expensive. There should be more cheaper wines on offer.

We ate late - at 9.15. and were seated promptly, despite them being very busy. Real buzz, excellent service, but not over-attentive. Food excellent, and good value - we paid nearly as much for a meal in a Yorkshire gastropub a few days earlier, for a vastly inferior meal.

We were there for lunch. Food was well presented and tasted great. We were close to the kitchen doors and service area, which did mean that it was a bit noisy but this didn't detract from the meal.

Impeccable service, delicious food, attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. Arrived very late from theatre, not rushed in the slightest, food was fresh and nothing was "off the menu" - a pleasing experience on it's own!
