Service was very good! The whole restaurant was in a cozy and nice environment, rather than left guests feeling distant and cold. Most of the dishes are amazing, especially the canapés and the dessert. Worth a try!

This was our 4th visit for the 7 course tasting menu, a splendid way to have a fantastic lunch. The Vichyssoise, was brilliant, surprising presentation that both amused and delighted. My first experience of Gurnard which is now my favourite fish. The whole menu was well put together, presented superbly and every course was delightful.Very knowledgeable staff who made us very welcome, even the cheese course was described in detail with a lot of information shared.

We were 4 persons celebrating a birthday and took up the offer of a seven course menu. The food was good, and the service fine. Certainly the price of the set menu at £31 was very good value.i find the ambience and decor a bit plain and boring which is a shame. Generally this is a well run, solid eatery.v

An excellent lunch served by pleasant staff. A crab starter was especially fine. Would have chosen the cheese course to finish but, on enquiry, was told that it came straight from the 'fridge - not what you expect from a fine French restaurant.

Whilst the food was decent the decor and ambiance of this restaurant was terrible. It felt more like a shabby bistro than an upscale restaurant. The waiters were inexperienced and nervous. This felt like a dying restaurant where the owners had decided not to bother with the upkeep anymore. At almost £200.00 for two for lunch you would expect more. We felt bad for the chef who deserves a better place to showcase his food. Will not be going back or recommending. Cannot for the life of me understand how this place is on your Michelin list.

Service was excellent cannot fault. My husband and I had the seven course taster menu and they were very obliging and accommodated my request and replaced the pork with lamb and it was delicious. The portions were just right. Must say the star anise puree with the meat was really nice. We both loved all the dishes. For my husband he would have liked some dressing/juice with his pork Apart from that perfect.
