Restaurant description

Laurent at Café Royal is a grand venue by the acclaimed French-born chef Laurent Tourondel inside the Hotel Café Royal on Regent Street. A bold international menu is crafted with flair in the open kitchen, while sushi masters prepare colourful treats at the chic sushi bar.

The Laurent at Café Royal menu is a bold, imaginative fusion of East and West. Sushi and sashimi specialities feature bold flavour combinations, like the gin-cured salmon with a yuzu glaze, and yellowtail served with jalapeño and yuzu guacamole. From the grill there is a selection of steak cuts, including USA Creekstone Farm fillet, and world-renowned Wagyu Kagoshima from Japan.

Eclectic cocktails made with all kinds of exotic liqueurs, bitters and infusions are served up in style at Laurent at Café Royal on Regent Street, along with premium champagnes and fine wines. Be sure to try one of the signature desserts too, like the chocolate tart made with 30-year old Pedro Ximenez sherry.

A stunning fine dining restaurant in London, Laurent at Café Royal is just a 2-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station.

The main drawback was that we weren’t sitting in the main dining room( The Regent Room). The Gallery is best served as a breakfast room for hotel guests . It was a main thoroughfare & had no atmosphere. The food was interesting & v good... although my husband said that he had eaten better Dover Soles elsewhere. The service was excellent & my husband has an allergy to cow's milk & they coped admirably. Everyone was v helpful. The question is... would I go back??

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Beautiful building and setting. Excellent service. We had the set menu and it was such good value for money and perfect for the business lunch that we had planned.

We enjoyed dining here so much. The staff was so friendly and polite. And the food was amazing. We loved the Yorkshire pud ‘bread’ with butter. So unusual. And I loved the cheeseboard! Would thoroughly recommend ..

Absolutely excellent evening!!! amazing - and this restaurant has now been refurbished to a wonderful style and decor! Service outstanding! We had beef tartare which the chef kindly did without truffle - followed by beef cheek and my friends had a salmon main course. We all had the chocolate desert which is one of the best we have had in a long time!! This was accompanied by Bellini’s and champagne!! A great night and so glad the kitchen has improved immensely!!! We will definitely be a regular!!
