I absolutely loved the tea.. and that’s about it. However Sophie the lady who served us she was AMAZING her service made our experience just the best! Thankyou for your lovely service and smiles!

I thought the afternoon tea was quite poor. I thought the scones were very small and the sandwiches only one each. It cost £60.00. Not worth it.

I was joined by three other family member for Afternoon Tea, we had a lovely relaxing time. Service was excellent and new dinning requirements were explained simply. The food was wonderful. I will be repeating this experience with my mum in the near future. Many thanks to the staff for a lovely experience.

The food was excellent and just right in terms of quantity. However we were the only table of 2 in the dining room. A radio was bought in for background music (classic fm) which was a little strange. We asked for seating by the window and was told it was set for dinner (bearing in mind we had 2.15pm sitting and were the only guests there). Our crockery was moved to a very wobbly table with no tablecloth! Moved table setting ourselves back to original table which was located near to where we had asked to sit but in the middle of an empty dining room not by the window! Gluten free scones were made which were very nice but there was a 10 minute delay presumably for cooking them. Re-filled cafetiere was topped up with hot water rather than fresh resulting in a light brown tasteless fluid (changed on request). This was a treat for my daughter who had tried to book previously for mothers day and so it was a disappointing experience overall.

Our waitress was lovely, the environment was also lovely. I would have liked more sandwiches with the adult afternoon tea, I was a bit disappointed with this. The children’s afternoon tea was lovely but serving creme fraice instead of cream completely ruined the children’s scones which was a shame. There was plenty of food for the children and it was good value for money.

We were a little bit disappointed with the service. We order a latte and it all came out spilled into the tray and all down the cup. The rim of the cup was all wet too and there was no attempt to clean it up. All we got was oh my hands are a bit shaky today. When we were giving our order we had to wait and watch the waitress running around the tea room scared of a fly! I mean seriously we expected better service from Laura Ashley. We were so excited and walked away disappointed. The sandwiches weren’t of good standard. The Coronation chicken was basically chicken with uncooked turmeric in it and all you got was the horrid taste of the uncooked turmeric. Put bluntly a total waste of my money!

We would highly recommend a visit to Laura Ashley tea rooms in Coventry. The whole experience was lovely, from the staff, to the decor, to the food and drinks. It was made even better as we went on a day it was 50% off. We will certainly be returning.

We had a lovely time but was hard to get drink refills. The staff took distancing too far by not being in the room very much. Abigail made up for it with free cold drinks. The food was delicious. We had afternoon tea. Not sure about the welsh rarebit or the Victoria sandwich. Didn't enjoy them at all. Really disappointed there were no macarons. But everything else was perfect. Cant wait for next time. Thank you Abigail for your hard work.
