Staff were excellent. Lovely room It was a tad bit irritating to have a family with a noisey baby with loud sound toys Building noises let the ambience down

The vegan and vegetarian options for the afternoon tea were absolutely delicious! The staff were very helpful and friendly and made sure to ask us about any dietary requirements to suit our needs. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Came here for a birthday treat and girly catch up. Really enjoyed the afternoon tea, would definitely recommend. The setting and service were faultless, beautiful ambience and delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Our waitress was also lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a place.

Really lovely afternoon tea at Burnham Beeches Laura Ashley Tea Room. Beautifully decorated room. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely - very tasty but fair too much. Had a cake box to take the top tier home! Plenty of tea too!

Took my Mother for her birthday and what a gorgeous place to have Afternoon Tea. An unexpected 'amuse bouche' for a starter is a lovely idea. Bread was perfectly soft and fresh, as were the scones, topped off with beautiful and delicate cakes (some were boxed up for us to take home). Friendly waitress, who was telling us about all the new refurbishments that the hotel was having. She popped in a few times to make sure we weren't left waiting for another pot of tea/water. In the words of my Mother "it was all fit for a Queen."

The room and staff were all lovely, but sadly the afternoon tea was a disappointment. The Welsh Rarebit sandwich was burnt and cold, resulting in black burnt bits all over the sandwich plate. The scones were like bricks, presumably they had been reheated. The rest was ok. It was still a lovely experience, but the quality of food needs to seriously improve.

Really welcoming staff who were attentive throughout. The food was excellent and I was surprised at the quantity- much better than closest rivals! Decor was lovely and the whole experience was really enjoyable. Only one slight criticism- a pot of coffee would be preferred rather than a cup. Many thanks.
