Wonderful food, I had crab to start and cod for main. Both were utterly delicious. The service was excellent and the ambience was good, it was a lovely lunch.

The service is very attentive and we felt very welcome.
The dishes were incredibly generous. Three courses was in fact about seven With all the chefs complimentary dishes
The meal was sensational. Every dish was well presented and of michelin star quality.

We were a bit late as found it tricky to find, but the staff were courteous. The seating was comfortable and relaxed.
We had two courses crab followed by cod.
The crab was exquisite although quite a lot of mash potato with it. My daughter particularly enjoyed the champagne accompaniment, a wonderful post birthday treat.

The menu and service were excellent and a great value for London Festival. Very generous cheese platter and lots of smal extras to make this a special experience. Good for both lunch or dinner.

The restaurant ambience as well as the quality of the food was good and my wife and I would have enjoyed the restaurant. The issue was the customer service. One of our courses was served in a small glass bowl. Halfway through the dish I realised that the inner glass bottom of the bowl was shattered while still intact from the outside. I felt very uncomfortable and was worried that I ate small splinters of glass. I raised it with the waiter and he said he would check in the kitchen. After a couple of minutes he came back and said that the dish was fine leaving the kitchen and whether I wanted another dish. I declined and said that I was worried that I ate glass and recommended that they should not use those delicate bowl which cracked. While I was worried about my health, the waiter clearly could not care less. When I settled the bill and was asked how the experience was, I told the new waiter that I really did not appreciate how the situation was handled. it is not ok to be eating out of a shattered glass bowl. The lady said "understood, but if you would die, at least you had a nice last supper". I found this just amazing. sorry but if you have caused a problem, please have the decency to apologise. Acknowledge that your customer feels uncomfortable because of glass splinters in the food and tell him how sorry you feel and you will make sure this will not happen again. Just show some kind of concern. A nice evening ruined thanks to a tactless behaviour of the staff. If you want to be abused, I highly recommend a visit.

The best Sunday lunch we have ever eaten. The beef was amazing. Food beautifully presented. Attentive but not overbearing service.
