Been 5 times now, had the tasting menus and a la carte and I can recommend it all! Slightly pricey but it is well worth it for a treat on the odd occasion.

Awarded a prestigious Michelin Star and the only UK establishment to be promoted from 3 to 4 AA Rosettes in the 2010 AA Restaurant Guide, The Latymer has fast become one of the best restaurants in the Surrey area under the guidance of Head Chef Michael Wignall.

Formerly of The Devonshire Arms Hotel in North Yorkshire, Chef Michael Wignall's natural flair in the kitchen, expertise and passion for food led to The Latymer being recognised as the 'Best Restaurant Newcomer of the Year' in the Good Food Guide 2009.

Describing his cooking as 'complex, carefully crafted and very technical but not intimidating', Michael Wignall's cooking style has familiar, classic themes, with all flavours staying true to themselves. You can expect to find exceptional dishes such as pan fried John Dory Fillets with braised shin of veal and buttered gem lettuce and cannon of salt marsh lamb with anchovy beignets, slow cooked pork belly, baby onions and tomato vinaigrette. With a stylish and seductive look throughout, The Latymer offers a first class dining experience.

Michael Wignall deserves his Michelin star. Innovative food, well presented with a combination of big and delicate flavours to delight the discerning palate. Definitely for the food buff. The staff were polite and attentive and explained every dish in detail. Nothing was too much for them, a 5 star service.
