Restaurant description

Bringing a vibrant, energetic slice of Spain to Warrington, Las Ramblas serves a selection of authentic tapas alongside wine, sangria and cocktails. This intimate spot also puts on live music, making it a lively spot all through the week.

Both classic and contemporary tapas recipes are showcased on the Las Ramblas menu – the signature tortilla made with Spanish onion and potato is a popular choice, and the seafood stew is made to a secret family recipe. There is sea bass ceviche, chorizo lollipops with pear aioli, and Iberico pork ribs with rosemary, quince and honey. The paella dishes come in a variety of options, including a vegetarian choice.

Spanish favourites are found on the Las Ramblas Warrington dessert menu too, including crème Catalan with orange and cinnamon, and Spanish flan with fresh cream. There is a great choice of cocktails like frozen margaritas and Spanish mojitos, and an extensive wine list.

Intimately lit and featuring a striking wine display running along the walls, Las Ramblas restaurant is a 6-minute walk from Warrington Bank Quay Rail Station.

Lovely tapas served in stages which was better as you could enjoy and share each one in turn, all the food was very good and was happy with all our choices, the deep fried Camembert was particularly delicious.

Firstly the staff here are excellent, friendly and attentive. The food was disappointing. This was my third visit, each time I have vowed not to return. I took my wife for the third and final attempt to find some good tapas. Calamari in thick batter, not seasoned or textured, gritty prawns, lobster claw overcooked, in shell prawns overcooked. Presentation of all dishes was lacking. Venue, decor, ambience and staff need better quality food to make this a top restaurant, sorry Las Ramblas!

The olives are the best olives I have ever had. They are amazing!! The homemade shot you get at the end which is similar to Baileys but 10x better. Food and service is lovely. Can’t fault it.

Best friend date night was absolutely perfect from start to finish - warm welcome and cosy seating area overlooking the kitchen preparation area...the young waiter was super attentive and couldn’t do enough for us which was lovely! The food was to die for, drinks plentiful and nothing was overly expensive but it felt like it was a little bit of luxury...will definitely be coming back!

Love this place. Went for the first time on new year's day. Couldn't wait to go again. Great food. Drinks good. Service excellent. Cosy and romantic it would be great for a family for friends get together.

Great food and fantastic service. Staff attentive. Great choices on the menu. One small comment about the pork kebabs. As my wife and I share the courses having just the one kebab rather than the usual 6 smaller ones made it slightly more difficult to share.

Fabulous food and great service. First visit for our kids and they loved it, kids menu was a good mix of “traditional” kids options plus some Tapas options

Really lovely food and a great, lively atmosphere! Staff were super attentative. Lamb chops/ Chilli chicken were the best dishes we tried - the only underwhelming dish was the steak croquette as we weren't expecting steak mince.
