Restaurant was quite noisy, a few big groups but not overly busy. I had lamb albindigas to start which were fab. Could have eaten more of them as a main course. We did the 2 courses and a drink for £20 menu which was great value. Good, (very) alcoholic cocktails too.

The food was lovely, the waitress, although new to the job was very helpful and kind. The restaurant was extremely hot which made dining very uncomfortable! The drinks took forever to come, we had finished our meal before we got our drinks. We also asked for some water which came with our bill! Good job we weren't choking! Don't think we will be going again.

Upon arriving early for our table, we waited in the bar area. The four of us went to the bar to get some drinks, and the wait for service seemed an eternity. The bar staff were busy and only seemed concerned with making up the orders that the waiters were bringing from the tables. After being seated the waiter took our order after 20 mins, but the food was then another 50 mins before coming out. My wife ordered a dish with crayfish on it, but was informed that there was no crayfish available! The food that we all had was very enjoyable though. My waiter took a drinks order from me, and after a long wait finally brought our cocktails over with an apology that someone had to go to Tesco's to get some more ingredients! At the end of the evening our waiter, who was a very patient and understanding guy, apologised and told us that the problems of the evening were down to the kitchen being understaffed, and the manager being off with a broken toe, sustained whilst playing football, so all in all, not the kind of evening we had in mind at all. Favourite dishes we enjoyed were the honey peri peri chicken, chilli con carne, and crayfish-less xinxim dish. Disappointing dish was the flip flop dessert dish at £5 each was a let down.

We liked the fact that it was happy hour all night, that was great. The food was great. However the portions were too small for such a high price (way too expensive) and it took too long. We had booked a table for 20:30 so we got there earlier to sit at the bar and have some drinks. By 20:45 the table was still not ready. We ordered additional chicken wings which never came and yet were added to the bill, and my friend got the wrong food, which they changed afterwards. In spite of this the food was really really good, although for £18.95 I would have definitely expected a bigger steak.
