Bestowed with multiple awards for its Italian cuisine, L’Anima brings effortless serenity to the City. Earthy stone surfaces and swathes of plush white leather are bathed in natural light, which streams in through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Head chef Antonio encapsulates Italy’s classic cooking style with a contemporary twist, offering simple yet bold flavours. Sourcing fine ingredients from Britain and Italy, the L’Anima menu is inspired by recipes from Sicily, Sardinia and Calabria, with regularly changing offerings including fish stew with Sardinian fregola, or succulent cuts of meat and fresh fish served from the josper grill.
Vegetarian options are ample at L’Anima near Liverpool Street, and sweet indulgences include Amalfi lemon soufflé, or raspberry & almond tart with liquorice crumble. Cherry-picked wines come from boutique vineyards, while famous aperitifs and continental cocktails are mixed at the marble bar.
Elegant and contemporary, L’Anima restaurant in London is also recognised by the Sustainable Restaurant Association for its ethical approach. Liverpool Street Station is a 4-minute walk away.

Customer reviews for L'Anima

We had quite a difficult time finding the restaurant, as there is a L'Anima Cafe on the main street, which was confusing since the restaurant is in almost a side alley on the other side and not at all visible from the main street.
As the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, service was quite good and attentive. We got our food very quickly.
We ordered the hand-made Sardinian pasta with prawn, but were quite disappointed as it was too salty and had a very strong fishy taste and there were hardly any prawns in the actual dish. The mocktail we ordered also was too sweet and overloaded with sugar syrup. Overall, the food was below average and did not meet expectations, though the The bread at the start and chocolate truffles at the end were a nice touch. The actual restaurant was nicer once more people started coming in.

This place is great! one of the few places in London with lots of space and you can sit down for drinks, staff is not pushy on ordering food, although I always do order some nibbles, their food is great too!

Very good food. Amazing fresh fettuccini with truffle. Highlight has to be dessert - beautifully presented & deliciously tasty.

Excellent service, good knowledge on the food, met the chef, food was excellent.
The salad i had was pretty like a picture. The atmosphere was really nice.
We had a special touch as it was my partners birthday, with chocolate written on a slate with truffles.
