The food was delicious and the service good. I just don’t know why we were pushed in a corner by the door when the restaurant was empty.

Little for a lot of money. No balance between food, ambiance and price.

Bit disappointed to be honest - starter was lovely but small portion - xmas dinner very average and big lump of turkey rather than nice thin slices .. -- but fatty even for turkey seemed a bit insipid and boiled -and not enough veg needed some colour from carrots or something - xmas pudding was just like cheap Tesco version nothing special... atmosphere was ok and staff were nice enough but didn't make me want to go back - wine expensive - and service charge just for 2 of us huge so for offer of 28.50 we ended up paying £150

It was a disaster, the menu had changed and the waiter clearly did not want to honour the booked price, we ordered our meal received a cold and very small starter then when my maid=n came it was nearly cold which with white meat is not a good thing. at that point I told the waiter take my meal away and I would not be paying, my wife continued with hers so I honoured that. Although the potions were so small it was an insult. When the bill came it was the wrong price and I had to get it changed. This was so poor it was an insult. I have reviewed this on Trip adviser

Slow service - an hour or more before we received our food. No ‘live music’ as promised on the ‘festive afternoon tea’ menu. No top up of hot water offered for tea. Had to chase for service all afternoon. Sandwiches dry by the time they arrived....
