The food was good, but not exceptional. The service was AWFUL: lot of problem with the booking, they didn't read the request through the app, not polite, no experience serving the ladies first and to poor them wine as well. Really rude overall

The restaurant was quiet. The staff were very attentive but possibly because there were only 4 sets of people dining. The decor was traditional but comfy. The food was very good indeed. My dining partner had salmon tartare as the scallops had finished and I had duck & pigeon terrine. For main course my dining partner has seabass and I had bellypork. The desserts had were pistachio creme brûlée and I had sticky toffee pudding. I would say the food was of a good standard and well presented and very tasty. Enjoyable experience

The food is very good, the cava and teas are also good. But the service was terrible, we felt like we were on the forgotten table, empty tables around us were not cleared for 20-30 minutes. We were not offered more tea or sandwiches as was explained when we sat down. Staff just seemed to ignore us and were either chatting at the bar or wondering aimlessly around. We will not return.

We visited Lanes Friday 24th on our weekend break to London and was really looking foward to eating there ! however was sadly disappointed with quality and cooking of main course dish we chose x We went for the set menu and both starter and dessert were superb , but main event the pork belly was for me , inedible !! It Was not cooked properly , looked and tasted awful . Having said that I mentioned to waitress when she collected plate and saw it left ,barely touched and all due credit, she came back and offered complimentary glass of bubbles and apologised. All staff there and service was impeccable , just a shame main course ruined whole thing and for such a reputable dining venue was certainly not up to scratch !

Lovely decor. Seat by the window. Attentive member of staff. Had the set menu with Prosecco but was not offered this on arrival even though I booked this offer with Bookatable. Though they didn’t take my name either do they wouldn’t have known. Food was excellent.
