Boat looks promising from outside. Once you get in it is all about disappointment. Old fashioned, would urgently need a refurbishment. Booked a table for a business dinner and I regret it.

First impressions were good, the host was very welcoming, took our coats and showed us to our table. However, this quickly changed when our waitress visited the table. Firstly, she took our drink order, as standard. Straight after taking the drinks order she remained at the table, staring at us. I politely said we were not ready to order our food (as we had only been at the table for literally two minutes) and she scoffed and left. Myself and my partner overlooked this and continued looking at the menu. The waitress returned two minutes after, lifting both arms and rudely said "well, ready yet?", I replied that we would like to receive our first drinks before we ordered. She replied that the Bar are in charge of the drinks and they'll come when they come. I again asked her to return when our drinks have arrived. When the drinks touched the table the waitress then asked us to order, in which we did. However, straight after we heard the same waitress talk to the new arrivals next to us. This table were greeted properly, told the specials and gave a much better service.
Considering I'm currently a Restaurant Manager and my partner is a Restaurant Supervisor we were massively disappointed by our service. The waitress was clearly rude and fed up, treating us much different to other tables for no reason.
On departure, the host took our payment then didn't bother saying thank you, goodbye or get our coats. I had to get our coats from their coat rack while they just watched.
There was only two other tables of two in the restaurant at the time.

Lovely setting , food was great out waitress was fantastic realy looked after us ..
Only thing upset me after i had paid I noticed service charge already added to the bill and we found out how little goes to the staff ...
I don't want you to presume I will tip and why should your company get extra for something your staff have done , how many people actually notice this?

Breakfast was disgraceful, hard rubbery eggs, solid bacon and over cooked sausages, not to mention tea and coffee made up in urns high you can guess tasted awful. Only bread available was cheap sliced white and brown and on second morning of our stay they only had rolls presumably from the previous evening as they were definitely not fresh. Dinner was okay but not special in any way. It’s such a shame because the hotel itself is beautiful.

The food was amazing no fault to be had
What i can and will complain about
You advertise as a classy restaurant
We dressed for the occasion smart trousers and shirt and partner elegant in a dress
Other diners in jeans I wouldn't call that classy at all
Waiters that are rude and ignore u
Food took forever to arrive
And to then get a bill with a service charge on it . I always thought service charges are volantry not automatically put on a bill
Your web site also shows pictures of a London back drop
False advertising u should say we have 4 tables qith this view the rest is of a dock with no view
