Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. We have been to La Tasca a lot in the past. I’m guessing the reduced menu is due to COVID. Unfortunately, my favourite tapas dishes have either been removed or altered. The lovely salty honey chicken wings have been replaced by honey and lemon flavour, the latter is so overpowering. They were horrible. The prawns (my previous favourite) were tasteless and were no longer served with the delicious grilled bread. The squid was OK but very under seasoned, as were the meatballs. The patatas bravas were overcooked and the tomato sauce was tasteless and my husband wants to know why they had alioli on them? The new pork dish was OK but I would have preferred the old ribs or pork cheeks to have remained on the menu instead. I missed the old fish in batter as well. The only saving grace were the croquetas; the only thing not to have changed. We had the churros for dessert and the chocolate sauce was too runny, like dipping the churros into hot chocolate instead of the lovely thick sauce from the past. Sorry Guys, we won’t be back until you’ve put the old favourites back on the menu. We understand that you need to change things around but these were not good changes.

It’s a lovely location. The staff were really helpful and knew the menu well . The food portions were of a good size and tasty. We had a selection of Tapas dishes. The only suggestion I would like to make is that some of the hot dishes soon became cold. This was probably because we had a lot to eat but it would have been nice if there was some way of keeping them warm. Thank you all we really enjoyed our lunch.

We were a party of four ladies & found the restaurant very welcoming, the service was prompt & friendly. Our starters were delicious, be it they were very small for the value. All tapas dishes were pipping hot & very delicious.
