The extensive La Passione menu features robust meat and fish dishes, with fillet steaks, grilled sea bass and calamari; many vegetarian choices are also available. Among dishes showing global influences, try chicken Mexicana or battered Thai prawns.

Alongside the Italian classics, La Passione restaurant offers Marino’s homemade steak pie. Fresh pizzas made on the premises include the house special folded calzone, while indulgent desserts include lemon and vodka sorbet and Sicilian ice cream cake.

La Passione’s central location is ideal for pre-theatre dining, with a big menu of tempting options. On St Clair Street, Marino’s La Passione in Kirkcaldy in Fife is a 4-minute drive from Kirkcaldy Train Station.

We went to Marino’s for a retirement meal for 3 good friends. From the moment we arrived we had excellent service and food. Never felt rushed even though we lingered after eating. Received complimentary garlic bread and Lemoncello shots

Booked this to celebrate the birthday of a friend who lives nearby and recommended it. Once in I realised I'd been there before, some years ago. The decor is simple but pleasant and the menu is extensive. The house red was very good and the service was first-rate. The food? Excellent! Just as I rate hotels on how well they prepare porridge, so I rate Italian restaurants on how well they prepare Bruschetta (Romana in this case). It's not a foolproof test but doing simple things well is a pointer to commitment. The Bruschetta was great. I had Canelloni Fiorentini to follow and it was also excellent. I would have like one more Canellono but the sauce was very very good and, so, I wasn't that disappointed. The other members of the party had various pastas also and were equally delighted. For a Monday evening there were a good few diners, which says something. Lastly, well priced!
