The service was good and attentive but the food was overpriced for what it was, the portions were very small and the food itself was quite uninspiring. I would have expected either larger portions or higher quality for the price. The restaurant was also quite busy yet three out of the four ladies toilets were locked and there was quite a queue, if there was an issue further steps should have been taken especially on a Saturday when it was a relatively full place. Overall it was all quite an average to disappointing dining experience.

We were seated very quickly once my details were found. I had a 3 course set menu booked and the waitress was helpful with any questions re the food, she even got me a sample of the pate so that I could taste before ordering. When we ordered starter, main and dessert were all ordered straight away. The starter came very quickly but a very small amount of toast with the pate so asked for more which was not a problem, however we were charged £4 for it !!!! I suggest they serve more to start with. The main course arrived before our starter plates had been cleared and the man just stood there with the main courses, there was no space to move the plates, he asked if we wanted him to come back in a bit ?? errr no just clear the table please ! Portion sizes weren't massive but plenty. Desserts were delicious but we couldn't work out what the poached fruit was ! Whilst the plates were unusual they were fairly badly chipped and due to the style of them really didn't look great. We both used the bathroom and one of them was completely blocked and obviously had been for a while so I presume no one checks them during the day ,I did let our waitress know. All in all a lovely restaurant with great décor and friendly staff.

Very poor experience. The waitress got three out of four orders wrong and the overpriced vegetables were cold. Deal was for three courses but didn’t include and accompaniments to the main course.

Beautiful meal, gorgeous surroundings, wonderful staff. Constantly changing menu based around the produce from the farm gardens. We had the star deal and left satisfied and feeling like we’d had a real treat for a great price. Kelvin our server was amazing, knowledgeable and attentive - he definitely played a part in it being such a great meal.

Excellent choice for pre theatre meal in Covent Garden. Shared plates for starters and pudding, choice of main plus a glass of Prosecco. Good value for the location. Will definitely go again.

Overcooked chicken, overcharge of wine on bill, plus in addition a carafe of wine that was offered complimentary due to overcooked chicken was then added on to the final bill. Service was good however.

We were not particularly impressed. Tony portion sizes and it took the staff over two and a half hours to bring out our three courses

We went for the special menu at £25 each. Great value. We both had Plaice for main course. However one of the mains contained a very high percentage of fish roe (practically half). We did mention it to waiter who overall was a very nice man, and who advised he brought it up to kitchen staff but nothing was done about it. Very strange indeed!
