Bursting with colour and vibrancy, Kyrgyz Kazakh House at Pasha offers an eclectic mix of Mediterranean and Central Asian cuisine. Scattered stools, Persian rugs and tapestry-adorned walls indoors are offset by a breezy decked al fresco terrace.
Showcasing a wholly authentic selection of recipes from across a breadth of continents, the Pasha restaurant menu spans from simple tapas dishes to hearty main dishes. Pasha Camberwell favourites include the Islim kebab with aubergine-wrapped lamb, hoshani meat-stuffed dumplings, or marinated herring fillets with gherkins and potato.
For dessert, enjoy a warm and flaky helping of sweet baklava, or a delicious honey-smothered chak-chak. As well as cleansing green tea served in authentic ceramic bowls and rich Turkish coffee, a selective wine list is offered.
Set in the boutique Hotel Pasha, Kyrgyz Kazakh South East London offers regular live music, entertainment and belly dancing performances. Oval Tube Station is a 4-minute car journey away.

I was lead to believe this would be a very authentic dining experience but it was just weird and tacky with very loud karaoke style entertainment and flashy lights. The food was not that nice and there was only one main course option for vegetarians. We had booked a cushion seating area and then we told we weren't allowed to sit there when we arrived. The restaurant was not in a good area and was quite far from any tube stops. The only interesting/good part of the night was the belly dancing, but this happened so late that we had already finished our food and were ready to go by the time it started.

I have been to this restaurant many times, and I enjoy my dinner every time!! On Fridays there's a Belly Dancer which is just a pleasure to watch, and also people inspired by her! The situated Area isn't the best feature of this Restaurant but it's Local to me. Would definitely recommend to people who want to try something different and authentic!

My girlfriend and I dined on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was not overly busy which suited us.We were able to be seated in the traditional cushioned area which I enjoyed. With the superb cuisine along with excellent service a pleasurable night was had.

Food was very nice, drink OK, but on the Saturday evening we went the karaoke artist that passes for entertainment was belting out the tracks at such a volume it was hard to have a conversation. Probably best to avoid Saturdays and Fridays (don't know if they have music every day, hope not because I want to return for the great food!)

This is a unique place (another one only in Mayfair is the Semerquand - which is also a very good example) to have central asian (Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen, Azer) specialities. So, hard to compare but worth to try. You will feel the geographical shift from chineese cusine with some western influences..
