Great tasty pizza - but the food comes second to the little kitty cats, fabulous experience when all the little kittens woke up for a play.

Generally everything about the place was positive, the staff were generally very friendly, and the kittens were absolutely adorable (although I thought they'd be a bit more interactive with people), and the food was also good.

The staff were lovely and the food nice but seeing all the cats in an alarmed manner was not nice to see. The cats were clearly over stimulated being touched by so many people, constantly. Most of the cats were sat at the door to their private area, which is where many of the guests then proceeded to congregate to touch the cats which the cats did not look at all comfortable with.

So I was completely shocked that for my mum, 3 year old daughter and I, it cost £16 just to walk in the door. Once in, we were told we had 1 hour to place our order, eat and drink. No where on the website does it clearly state the fee you need to pay. I think it's ridiculous and wont be returning.

Fabulous visit! A spacious, clean and welcoming café - lots of adorable furry friends to entertain you. All the cats looked so well cared for and happy. An extensive menu on offer. Yummy cheesecake! Excellent hygiene standards.

The atmosphere was loud and chaotic, adults and children chasing cats around the place like lunatics, climbing over other customers tables and seats to get to the cats.
Waitress kept getting our order wrong had to keep repeating it to her.
Food when it came was sub-standard! All cheese and lettuce in a chicken wrap! Cold soggy potato wedges paid for as en extra as there are no sides served on your plate and £2.45 for a small bottle of coke?
The staff all seemed spaced out and clueless as to what was going on.
There is only an hour time limit on the table,(not stated when booking) slow service and a child with us this it not long enough. We were told we couldn’t have dessert as our time was up.
There was no mention of the entrance fee to the cafe payable before being allowed through the door!

It was ok... Apart from the reception staff very rude and abrupt... The staff serving food... Clearing tables away and taking orders was bad.. my order was wrong.... When I corrected them I got a look of so what... Miserable staff they all look fed up in there... Very rushed they said I had a 1 hour hurrying me out the door... But other people were aloud to stay longer. Customer service appalling... All need re training.... And for the catsbi saw 2 if that... People kids were chasing the cats.... Good idea but not worth the money. The management need a wake up call and the staff retraining. Overall I wouldn't go to the Birmingham kitty cafe again. Service.. staff management really bad. Not impressed

Cover charge of £10 for welfare for the cats paid before we even walked in the door (was not detailed on booking on website). As you are strictly held to your 1 hour booked time slot, even seated late, they are making a fortune on welfare charges alone.
The food was ok, nothing special. The cats stay mostly up high out of the way so I wouldn’t bother ordering more than a drink for a child as they spend all their time looking for cats.
I wouldn’t go back as it was an expensive and somewhat rushed experience. Novel but doesn’t live up to the hype.

I was disappointed that there were no breakfast options. The scones were the closest thing we could find and they were very dry. My daughter couldn’t eat them as there was a strong smell of cat poo and cat litter every time anyone opened the doorway into the toilet which we were sat next to. His was also where most of the cats hung out so we were constantly surrounded by other guests who were sometimes even sat at our table and knocking our table as they squeezed past each other so it was very claustrophobic. The cats were constantly being harassed by people which meant that they were queuing to escape into the toilet room to hide from people. They also brought the wrong drinks and 1 too few scones. There is a strict 1 hour stat policy and 40 minutes of this was waiting for the drinks to arrive.
