Fabulous decor, with fabulous ambience, waiter mael was truly fantastic and looked after us exceptionally well. The food - amazing! Cannot wait until we go back - this was a truly marvellous experience and if you are in Manchester this place is a must. If you want a romantic date then you will certainly impress with this place. If it's just a nice quiet dinner again this place is fabulous for just about everything. Excellent place with excellent service and of course excellent value

Very nicely presented Afternoon Tea, included a mixture of Adult lead and Children lead sandwich choice. Tasty "Homemade" cakes and "Fancies", scones extremely moist. Lay out for x 6 persons a little tight and slightly disappointed that the actual presentation of Tea Pots did not harmonise with the actual place settings i.e. the place settings spot on with an eclectic appearance, but tea pots very modern and slightly spoilt the visual effect of the rest of the table. However, overall nice content of menu choice.

Afternoon tea was lovely seated in a lounge at the rear of the tavern. The waiter presented the tier of food and cakes very well and the food was delicious.

On a grim grey December afternoon, it was perfection to step into the King Street Tavern, where the warmth of the welcome instantly rekindled our sense of Christmas cheer. Guided by the lively and knowledgeable bar staff, we began with coffee cocktails - delicious and luxurious. We then moved into the delightful, quirky lounge to enjoy a leisurely Festive Cream Tea, accompanied by an excellent glass of red. Service was top notch from start to finish. Food great and the cocktails and wine first rate. We whiled away several happy hours here and can't wait to go again .

A lovely dining room with bags of atmosphere and quirky decor that gets conversation going! Attentive but not overly formal customer service. Good menu selection and great tasting food. I'll be back - possibly to sample the rooms and infinity pool.
