Enjoy great comfort food with a Southern twist at King Street Blues - whether it is one of the Po-Boy Sandwiches for a quick bite at lunch, or the award-winning Ribs or Low Country Shrimp and Catfish to enjoy with the whole family for dinner. Lighter options are also available, including delicious Broiled Salmon Cakes and a range of healthy salads. You can also stop by and relax with friends after work at the friendly neighbourhood bar. Decorated with colourful murals, King Street Blues uses only the freshest of ingredients and won't charge you an arm and a leg for it.

Fair. Place is becoming run down. Hardly anyone there. Had to ask for Restaurant Week menu. Had to look for waitress. No Hostess. Waitress brought wrong wine. Restaurant week special for 2 came with only 1 deseart!

While we enjoyed the food and atmosphere of King Street Blues, we didn't really get to fully experience it because we were rushed. Our server let us know, as soon as our party was seated, that although we had made a reservation, we were going to have be out of the restaurant by X time (1.5 hours later) because they had a very large party coming and would need our seats. We had a small child in our party, so were not likely to take even the full 1.5 hours to dine, especially because the restaurant was deserted! We were one of three parties there at the early hour we had booked intentionally. The food was quite tasty and served promptly at the correct temperature! I would have liked to have spent more time perusing the eclectic decor . . . maybe next time. In the future, the management would be well-served by training their staff in subtle methods to speed a party up rather than an overt "We need you to leave" (before we've even been seated) statement.

Ribs and sauce were good. Portions and sides could have been bigger. "Red" draft was good. Better than expected on New Year's Eve.
