The Keko Taverna, situated directly on the Auer Dult River in Munich takes your senses on a delightful journey with the down to earth, yet diverse Turkish cuisine. The ingredients for this traditional Turkish cooking are purchased daily to ensure the fresh top-class quality – no readymade meals are served here, it’s all freshly prepared! There are even fresh flowers used for decoration in line with this way of thinking. On the menu there are spicy Turkish specialities, such as marinated lamb dishes from the lava grill, with garlic yoghurt sauce and toasted bread. Vegetarian dishes are also exceedingly good. Here you will find well-known options, such as chickpea mousse humus, as well as new varieties to try, such as small mix of roasted aubergine in yoghurt sauce with currants. The fish menu is prepared daily depending on what is available at the market, and the chef will happily recommend the daily special. Keko means good friend in English, and that’s how guests feel with each visit to the Keko Taverna, whether in the hospitable atmosphere of the main dining room, or in the Keko Taverna’s small garden when the weather holds out.
