Arguably the most exciting restaurant launch in The Savoy's illustrious 125-year history, Kaspar's offers dazzling views of the River Thames and London landmarks. This informal yet luxurious dining experience evokes elegant 1920s style, where guests can indulge in sublime seafood specialities whilst envisaging the hotel’s rich and glamorous heritage.
Headed by a range of fresh and smoked fish and delicious fresh seafood, the Kaspar’s menu sees the finest ingredients sourced from across the British Isles, like Dover sole with brown butter caper sauce, Isle of Skye lobster, or native Loch Ryan oysters. Dishes from the land include venison shepherd’s pie with cranberries, or grilled Salt Marsh lamb cutlets.
Luxury classic cocktails and sensitively-sourced wines complement the simple menu at this Savoy restaurant, and a hearty breakfast menu is served from early morning until lunch. Enjoy morning indulgence of grilled kippers, or lobster and prawn frittata at Kaspar’s in London.
Glittering mirrors, polished brass fittings and a chequerboard marble floor evoke the glamour of the 1920s. Kaspar’s on the Strand is a 5-minute walk from Charing Cross stations.

The Savoy is a fabulous place, it’s so elegant and beautiful. We were seated at a wonderful table overlooking The Thames. We opted for the pretheatre menu as it was better value for money however the choice was very limited. I had the quail starter which was delicious, I struggled with the mains so opted for the cod, the cod was beautifully cooked however the brown shrimp risotto wasn’t to my taste. Dessert was ok, and the wine was wonderful. The staff and service was brilliant. I ate at The Ritz two weeks ago so I seemed to compare it to that (unfortunately) and I have to say The Ritz knocks spots of The Savoy.

We went on a Friday evening for dinner. Overall the booking experience was relatively straight forward. The staff was excellent, service was top notch. From the moment we sat down to being served, the staff was attentive and even gave us recommendations on the menu. The ambience was overall good with live music and adequately spaced out dining tables. The food on the menu was well presented and at a high standard. We ordered half dozen of oysters which was served freshly. The seafood dishes was well cooked. Value wise it is on the high end, however if you’re looking for a special occasion or a treat then you’re not gonna be disappointed.

The meal was excellent! The staff were very attentive and helpful. Willing to explain everything, they took time to speak with us to ensure we knew what everything was, and understood the menu. Also, just to talk to us. Couldn’t fault anything thoroughly enjoyable experience.
