From renowned Michelin-starred Chef Atul Kochhar, Kanishka Restaurant showcases food from the Northeast of India in a sleek, modern atmosphere. Relatively unexplored, Northeastern Indian cuisine is defined by its own unique flavours and combinations, quite different from cuisine elsewhere in the country, and is known for its use of bamboo shoots, mustard oil and fermented vegetables.
At Kanishka Restaurant savour modern interpretations of traditional dishes, all made using local produce keeping in mind core values of the cuisine. Signature offerings on the Kanishka menu, which changes seasonally, include Atul’s chicken tikka pie, banana leaf-steamed sea bass with sorrel chutney, or venison steak with grilled apple and aubergine. Round off the meal with a tempting dessert like coconut rice pudding or tandoori fruit custard.
At the Kanishka bar, indulge in a variety of flavourful cocktails, or make your own, complemented with snacks like fried momos, fish pakodas or keema naan.
Kanishka Restaurant in London's Mayfair is a 7-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station.

Superb food and an excellent range of choices for an ‘offer’ menu, excellent service, and a delightful experience overall.

We had the set menu(turkey tikka pie/goose/dessert) which was excellent-and having looked at the main menu it is probably one of the most interesting and exciting menus we have seen/tasted in london or elsewhere in the uk.The attention to detail and welcome of all the team was exceptional and the service was both relaxed but extremely efficient. .

We go fine dining with friends every few months and this is our worth dining experience so far. Cocktail was nice but so spicy ?? that after that we could hardly taste anything. Kind of mild food we have ordered was so spicy ?? that cocktail ?? become not so spicy. Just to add we are eating Indian every month and enjoy if a lot, sadly- not in this restaurant!
