This is my second visit to Kaleido and both times it has been excellent. The staff are very attentive, service is very good and the food excellent. Love the fact its so close to the MEN, great for a pre-concert meal and close to all amenitites.

High above the National Football Museum in the city centre, Manchester’s Kaleido Restaurant and Bar is a colourful, modern space in an impressive venue. It serves British food with a twist, designed by innovative chefs Frank Bordoni and Paul Riley.

Using fresh, seasonal produce, the Kaleido offers plenty of choice. Hearty main courses include game pie, truffle mash and root vegetable confit, or try an express lunch of young squid, chorizo, puy lentil and orange. The Kaleido dessert menu tempts with warm apple and almond cake, served with toasted almond ice cream.

Diverse global influences bring new variation to classic British dishes. Food ranges from gourmet à la carte, to New York-style ‘haute dogs’. Great value ‘express’ and Sunday lunch menus go through the afternoon with last orders at 7pm (5pm on Sundays) meaning it's perfect for pre-theatre dinners. Drop into Kaleido's neighbouring bar for an aperitif, cocktail, wine or beer at any time of the day.

Just a 2-minute walk from Victoria Station, the Kaleido restaurant in Manchester is an original and contemporary choice enjoying an unrivalled view over the city.

The food was amazing. I'd give it a 9/10 as the wait staff could be just a touch more attentive but I'll definitely be back there when I'm next in Manchester.
