The worst dining experience I’ve had in a long while. We had gone for a reunion. From the minute we sat down, problems and misunderstandings occurred.
No awareness of booking offer, dirty glasses, cutlery, items not available on menu, items ADDED to dishes, to make up for lack of main item on said dish, veg half heated, mean portions, Luke warm chips, basically, the restaurant did not do ‘justice’ to the venue it was in! Best moment was when Nicola, manager came to apologise. She was very understanding. We were given desserts on the house. But even some of that was odd, giant apple crumble with a doll’s size jug of custard!!!

Inexperienced waiting, the girl was inappropriate saying cheers every time she bought us drinks over, she was robotic like. We ordered then 5 mins later said they didn't have the starter I wanted I asked for just some bread and olive like with balsamic they brought me olive bread and butter. My main lamb and potatoe dauphinois was served and when I cut through the potatoe it was freezing cold they took it away and bought a fresh one, my husband had finished his meal by then. His duck was super dry. They offered us desert complimentary we took advantage of this but when the bill can they just gave me my one free and charged my husband. For a new restaurant I would expect some teething problems but the food and service should have been spot on especially when you advertise yourself as fine dining - this certainly isn't and will not recommend or return. They have a hell of a lot of work to do.
