Holding 3 AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Jöro is a bold, modern setting that takes inspiration from nature. Creative small plate dishes are the main focus, allowing diners to craft their own meals made up of a diverse range of colours and flavours.

The Jöro menu uses only the freshest seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced to craft inventive small plate recipes. Eclectic dishes on regularly updated tasting menus include barbecued Lincolnshire sweetcorn with a shiitake XO emulsion and kimchi, and seafood options like poached Scottish salmon with a sauce of burnt cream and lovage with Autumn vegetables.

Desserts at Jöro in Sheffield are just as inventive, with curious treats like brown butter ice cream with rum and muscovado caramel and miso treacle pudding. There are drink pairings with each course, and a diverse wine list with different organic vintages, as well as international whiskies.

An exciting dining concept with flawless execution, Jöro is a 6-minute drive from Sheffield Rail Station.

Every dish at Joro was packed full of flavour, well presented as well as being explained well by the waitresses/waiters. Joro catered well for my dietary requirements/pescitarianism too which was very much appreciated.

Although the wine and staff were fantastic, we felt that nothing we were served "wowed" us (apart from perhaps the cracker served at the start), and a few of the dishes were completely sub par. We felt that the restaurant was trying to be too clever or trendy with their dishes and forgot that they also needed to taste good.

What a treat! Amazing food, great atmosphere, and excellent service.
Lunch got off to a fantastic start when we were brought a series of little snacks - not hassled to start ordering wine or drinks. Everything is beautifully presented and prepared. The first snack - Angular linseed crackers with purple and white rosettes of deliciousness - were memorable. Every mouthful of every dish we had was delightful. I’d definitely come again to try more of the menu.

Was an incredible evening, especially the eel dish. Very good value compared to other tasting menus of a similar standard.

Absolutely loved Joro - great atmosphere and service, but the real reason for going is the amazing food. Reviews can't do it justice - you have to experience it for yourself.

    Excellent food and service.

Excellent service, excellent presentation, unusual foods. Catered to my wife's awkward dietary needs. Their new Wagu beef course was very tasty - quite salty but in a good way. In particular we don't normally eat much fish but the sauces made them really good actually possibly our favourite dishes.
