An amazing evening - the food, the wine, the service and the environment were all fantastic - cannot wait to go back! Pork Belly with Madras Ketchup was my highlight, whilst my wife loved the Herdwick Hogget - difficult to choose a favourite though as it was all so brilliant!

Desserts at Jöro in Sheffield are just as inventive, with curious treats like brown butter ice cream with rum and muscovado caramel and miso treacle pudding. There are drink pairings with each course, and a diverse wine list with different organic vintages, as well as international whiskies.

What a treat. We had the five course tasting menu and shared a flight of matching drinks. I don’t feel I have the skill to describe the quality of the cooking and the alchemy with the ingredients. Simply stunning. And this extends to the matching drinks which on their own would have been good but were lifted to another level by the food pairings.

Jöro is a lovely location with an excellent atmosphere and friendly staff. Staff knew exactly how to to treat us, giving us space to enjoy the experience while also giving us detail on the food and wine which meant where some Michelin restaurants can be quite uncomfortable, these interactions were seem-less. The food was exceptional, particularly the yoghurt, dill and jalapeño dish and the pork belly. The wine selection was good, especially the initial white wines.
Overall fantastic experience, would recommend and will be going again.

Had a wonderful meal at Joro. Food was excellent and the drinks pairings complemented well. Favourite dishes were the celeriac and truffle and the sea trout which were superb. Found the frozen yoghurt and dill had a lovely flavour but the yoghurt seemed to have a bit of a stringy texture as it melted, by for me.
Staff were incredibly knowledgable and attentive but still very relaxed which was great. Offer to email through the wine pairing for more info was really nice too. Lovely vibrant atmosphere and decor set the tone well.
Really enjoyed the tasting menu but will go a la carte next time to try the waygu and scallop (if they’re still on!).
Thanks for a fabulous evening :-)

What a wonderful experience! Booked for a special occasion and Joro certainly didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff were all so attentive - especially Toby, whose knowledge and enthusiasm for each of the dishes was amazing! We had such a wonderful evening - one we won’t forget!
