Food was amazing. Not overwhelmed by 9 courses. Portion sizing was well thought out. Really enjoyed the brassicas with black garlic.
Ambience for lunch was mellow. Will definitely visit again.

Holding 3 AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Jöro is a bold, modern setting that takes inspiration from nature. Creative small plate dishes are the main focus, allowing diners to craft their own meals made up of a diverse range of colours and flavours.

The Jöro menu uses only the freshest seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced to craft inventive small plate recipes. Eclectic dishes on regularly updated tasting menus include barbecued Lincolnshire sweetcorn with a shiitake XO emulsion and kimchi, and seafood options like poached Scottish salmon with a sauce of burnt cream and lovage with Autumn vegetables.

Desserts at Jöro in Sheffield are just as inventive, with curious treats like brown butter ice cream with rum and muscovado caramel and miso treacle pudding. There are drink pairings with each course, and a diverse wine list with different organic vintages, as well as international whiskies.

An exciting dining concept with flawless execution, Jöro is a 6-minute drive from Sheffield Rail Station.

Joro has a really interesting approach, with some inventive touches. We enjoyed some new and exciting flavours. The wine list is likewise varied and interesting, and it's great to see organic wines on there.
There was quite a wait at one stage, with no real explanation. The irritating thing was that We were given a tasting menu only to be told that we may not get everything on there, and we may or may not get alternatives. Basically it was what chef decided to send out. Hmm.

    Top notch food and service.

Difficult to see why Joro shouldn’t be getting a Michelin star in the near future!

Great food- brilliant to have lots of little expertly crafted dishes. Friendly staff. Great concept for the building too.

We had the taster menu ( 9 Courses). We both felt that the food looked and tasted fantastic. Each course was packed with flavour, some unusual and a new experience and some more classic. The tomatoe course ( first dish) was for me the wow- factor as I didnt expect so much flavour from the tomato and smoked broth. In terms of favourite the mackarel and lamb were vying for the numberone spot. The 2 sweet dishes finished the meal off perfectly and we left comfortably satisfied. The service was excellent, the staff were well versed in the dishes and flavours and were very professional, polite but also friendly. The only slight critique I would offer was that one of the staff who served us was a little shy perhaps and somethimes we couldnt quite hear what she said. That is being picky however and it didnt detract from what was a great dining exeprience
