We had a delicious relaxing family lunch at Johnstons. The service was excellent and staff friendly. The food was good - 2 vegetarians and 1 with gluten allergy were catered for. When we visit London again and are looking for somewhere to eat Johnstons will be our first choice.

6 adults with varying tastes dined at 6.30 after saturday matinee. Booked because of location and web ad re. allergy friendly dining. Menu was nice, service was wonderful. Staff took details regarding ingredients and amended sauces etc accordingly, going so far as to put items in separate mini dishes with explainations from chef. A knowledge of gluten allergy and related problems was evident. We were a mixed bunch but all were very happy.

Couldn't disagree more Besse from Dover! We had an amazing experience at Johnston's. Our meals ordered from the pre-theatre menu arrived quickly and were absolutely spot on. We also thought the portion sizes were very generous, I almost couldn't manage all of my chocolate tart (but I persevered!) The staff were friendly and efficient and it was a lovely environment. Best of all, we had just a short walk in the cold to get to our show.
