John’s house is a lovely restaurant, with very accommodating and knowledgable staff. This was our third visit and we have never had a bad dish. All the food is carefully put together with expert precision, and this reflects with the flavours. We can tell a lot of time and effort goes into the dishes that they serve. We would highly recommend Johns House, to anyone wanting to experience a Michelin started restaurant.

Excellent restaurant with attentive staff. A lovely entrance with open fire. You have canapés and drinks in a small lounge before going upstairs to the main restaurant. A lovely choice of menu and the food is wonderful. A nice treat now and again.

Had the lunch menu, every mouthful was delicious. Have been before, but the person I was with hadn’t. She was equally impressed, expectation was well and truly met! Thank you. The welcome downstairs to the delivery on the table was faultless, the service staff know their roles extremely well and it shows.

This was my second time and I brought my sister in law to celebrate her 50th. I loved it again and she did too. She was very excited about going and I'm very thankful to say she was not disappointed and said it was the best present ever! The whole experience at John's House from the moment you walk in the door is wonderful. From the welcome, to the olives in the lounge, to the fresh bread, to the food, to the service, it is all amazing. My favourite dish this time was the brown sugar cream desert, it was beautiful, and perfect for me as it was not too sweet! I will be back and I want to try the taster menu next time.

Delightful lunch - excellent / interesting food. Wine is unrealistically expensive and detracts from the experience.
