Overall i had lovely evening, the waiters were helpful and friendly. The service as very good and did not have long to wait for our food. We enjoyed the starters of mackerel pate, but felt if needed extra toast as there was plenty of pate in the dish. The bar steak for the main course was excellent. The only disappointment was the desert, there did not seem to be enough of it. The sticky toffee pudding was a small square enough for two bites with a blob of ice cream on it. Did not think it was value for money. Enjoyed the pianist.

Joe Allen's is a favourite with colleagues and friends alike. Went back there with some Danish friends last night at their request. Great buzzy atmosphere enhanced by the pianist. Good food and service. Another great evening there.

Joe Allen was buzzing early on a Tuesday evening. Good service, great food. It's worth looing passed the set menu option as a la carte is not a lot more, but there are just so many choices.

Great post theatre dining. Quick to take our order which is what you want at that time of night. Our food arrived in good time without us being rushed. Excellent burgers !! And a value for money wine list. Just right.

Another great experience at Joes , lovely atmosphere and fantastic staff who make you feel so very special. Mentioned on the booking that it was a joint birthday meal and received complimentary proseco to start and candles on the dessert and they even sang Happy Birthday. As always love the "Piano man" just adds a real sense of style to the place and its a fantastic tradition, long may it continue. A real fun evening , a go to place for the ribs and the cheese cakes and cocktails, bliss. What more can I say other than Happy Days Joe Allan.

The location and ambience was is very good. The temperature of the place was a bit too high - it was getting difficult to breathe. The food was tasty and matching the bill. The service was a bit slow, in particular when taking the orders. Overall we had a good meal but there is room for improvement.

Great experience, staff really attentive and the food was delicious. It was a birthday celebration and the team marked it with a gesture of a pudding and a rendition of Happy Birthday (with the pianist). Even the other diners joined in. It all made for a lovely evening plus there was no push to get off the table, something I really appreciate.
