From world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Jean-Georges at The Connaught overlooks fashionable Mount Street in the heart of Mayfair. Informal gourmet dining is offered in relaxed, contemporary neighbourhood setting.
The imaginative menus are inspired by Jean George's signature use of South-east Asian flavours, and will also source the best of British ingredients to reflect a simple farm-to-table, fresh-from-the-market approach.
Offering the ultimate afternoon tea, Jean-George London serves traditional finger sandwiches with a twist like smoked salmon with chipotle chillies, followed by fresh scones and exquisite pastries. Designed by contemporary interior architect John Heah, wall-to-ceiling windows, accented with stained glass, create a light, vibrant mood that reflects the appealing colours served on the plates.
Jean-Georges Mayfair is 7 minutes’ walk from Bond Street Tube Station.

The dining experience was excellent -- the food as always was excellent and Mate who was looking after our table was excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

Really fabulous experience- attentive staff, delicious food and great ambiance

My family came to visit me from Switzerland. As soon as they arrived in front of the Connaught, the staff members were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. In the restaurant, they made everything for us to have a wonderful evening. The chef even gave us the two famous pizzas to try along with a delicious tiramisu at the end. The other dishes were very good as well. The wine offer and service is great too. My family went back to Switzerland with a wonderful memory of Jean-George and the Connaught.

The venue is very nice, the service as expected. I am vegeterian and it was mediocre. The truffle pizza was nothing special at all: Small and oily. I am Italian so I know what a good pizza is and that was not a £35 pizza. The starter was a kale salad and could only taste the vinegar. The other people at the table said their food was good expecially the polpo starter but nothing special. It was definitely not £400 worth dining experience, absolutely not. Really disappointed and will not go back or reccomend to anyone for the restaurant. The hotel cocktail bar instead is great for drinks.

The afternoon tea at The Connaught is a MUST for us every time we visited London. This time was no exception and we even bought an overseas friend to join us. We ordered 2 tea sets plus a drink to share between the three of us but we were told by the waiter that we have to order 3 teas sets because we made reservation for 3 person. I told him that this was not the case as we have been here quite a few times and we always order tea sets to share. The waiter then proceeded to say we have to order 3 tea sets because the chef has already prepared it based on the reservation for 3 person. Since my husband and I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of our guest, we were forced to accept 3 tea sets. In the end, it was not only an unpleasant experience but a wasteful one as we have way too too much food. We end up taking all 6 of the freshly baked scones home instead of enjoying it during tea. Personally I am a fan of afternoon tea because it’s a great time to chat with friends over delectable pastries and sweet. Not once was I ever force to order a tea set each for everyone in my party, not in Hong Kong and not at any establishment in London except at The Connaught. To secure my reservation at The Connaught in advance, I have to provide my credit card details, and when I check over the term and condition later, no where in the confirmation said I must order the same amount of tea set as the number of guest. With this type of unethical business practice, I guess I will never return to avoid such unpleasant experience.

Very nice dinner

Started badly, as the restaurant had no record of our reservation. Either this is a technological fault (you should check), or they decided to give preference to some other diners ahead of an online booking. They eventually found the booking on their computer system, but said it had appeared late (the reservation was made weeks before). Eventually, after the other guests had arrived and complained bitterly, they did manage to find us a table, but it didn't get things off to a great start. The food was excellent, and given the quality and the nature of the venue, I thought it was reasonably priced. Starters were all interesting, very well presented and tasty. I had an excellent filet steak for my main course, which was delicious. Lots of imagination in the food presentation and the composition. Fantastic desserts. There was some sloppiness in the service, as two dishes were mixed up (easily fixed). I had ordered my steak rare and it was medium-rare at best. It was still delicious, but again this is a little imprecise for a restaurant of this calibre. The wine list was exceptionally good, although marked up ferociously. Very friendly and knowledgeable sommelier. Overall, it was a really enjoyable lunch in a very pleasant venue. I would go again, but I'd call and check the reservation rather than trust the online booking system.

We had a great evening the food was delicious - desserts amazing. Service very good and whilst when the restaurant was full it was quite noisy we could managed to converse.
