The atmosphere and food was wonderful, we wanted a quick but ‘proper’ meal before going to the theatre and would definitely recommend this one - we all had seafood dishes which were cooked to perfection followed by lovely traditional gelato which was as good as in Italy.

A stone’s throw from Piccadilly Circus, this much-loved Italian restaurant is housed within a traditional pub-like setting. Adopting the infectiously warm ambience of a popular town pub, the vintage-style plaque above the door at Jamie’s Italian - Piccadilly reads ‘Est. 2014’.

Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.

From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners at Jamie's Italian in London sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.

A 3-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station, Jamie’s Italian Piccadilly is opposite the Piccadilly Theatre on Denman Street.

Food was ok, even though too greasy. Most of the dishes are either fried or heavy... and the restaurant is very loud.

Good enough. We had the Crispy Squid (delicious) followed by the Buttered Chicken Burger (very little chicken in it). Great atmosphere. The staff are what make it so good.

We waited for long time at our table before we got served even a drink, we had burger and skinny fries, The burgers were very greasy, under done and tasteless, haehad better from McDonald's and i hate McDonald's, definitely not worth the £35 we paid for them, the table to the side of us had ravioli and they were flat dry and looked very bland, would never eat there again

4 people ate - the meals were very good - although initially a little disappointed as the offer which was on my email was apparently not valid as it was a Saturday ??. I had prawn langunine - very good the tomato sauce was very flavoursome!

Not so cosy as Jamies in Covent Garden. Good menu, well cooked food, nice staff but do something about the interior
