Food was great, I had the special ravioli. My friends also enjoyed their food. Our server spent a little too much time at our table which was a bit disconcerting. The restaurant was quite empty so I think he was overcompensating.

I was very disappointed! Firstly I had booked in advance, yet when we arrived the table was not ready for us and they had to clean it. The waiter was polite and advised re the house wine which was not good. 2of my guests, from Spain, who were ardent admirers of Jamie, ordered the carbonara. Being too polite to complain, it was not until I tasted it towards the end of the meal, that I discovered it was like rubber and very undercooked. Italian restaurant that cant cook pasta, come on Jamie, look at your chefs! I ordered scallops in a spicy tomatoe sauce! So spicy I couldn’t taste the scallops and so couldn’t eat them. I was embarrassed and ashamed that having travelled some distan mine nor my visitors found the experience far from satisfactory. Having complained to the member of staff they did deduct the cost and issued us with vouchers, which expire on 22nd April. I have booked the Piccadilly restaurant for 7th April, only to use the vouchers, so I am hoping this will be better.

Lots of James are in trouble and I assume that this is one of them. Service OK but too many things off, pasta just warm and not cooked, white wine warm. Wouldn't go back.

I took my friend for her birthday. I bought a two course deal on Deal Zippy. We shared starter and pudding and had a main each. The main course of crab spaghetti was delicious. A subtle hint of chilli but not too much. The tiramisu was in a glass so not the easiest to share but very tasty. The starter was the disappointing course - bruchetta was cold even though it had been toasted and the tomatoes roasted and mozarella melted! The service was very good and I would certainly go back.

Although over priced the food was delicious. The main problem was that there was a lot on the menu that they did not have so we ended up having to change our minds on what we wanted to eat and drink because of lack of food. We ended up not even having desert due to lack of options. We will certainly not be going back.
