Lovely building. We had to ask the two men on the nearby table to refrain from using bad language. We listened to them for thirty minutes and then my partner asked them to refrain from using language. Lovely staff and lovely food.

The food and service was great x however the facilities let it down - the toilets were uncared for and the lighting was to dark in the restaurant it self.

First visit to this restaurant. Impressed with the decor . However, the bench type seating ,although padded velvet, was sagging badly and made for a not too comfortable evening. Had a tagliaterre carbonara dish which was fairly substantial and a nice consistency but lacking a bit in taste. Sauce could have done with a bit more seasoning. The chocolate brownie dessert was delicious . Very reasonably priced so would be happy to go again. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff didn’t know we were booked for the set menu. I had to remind them. Then they said that menu stopped at 7pm and our table was at 7.15! I said that the booking system didn’t indicate this and it turned out they made a mistake! Meal was great value and the service was good, though staff seemed very busy. Water wasn’t brought to our table until the dessert! Hopefully the new set menu offer will be more familiar to them by now!
